Backstage Hotel Amsterdam

Staff was very nice and helpful, they even give you a welcome card and complimentary drink. Location is just about close to everything you want to see. Love the Rock and Roll theme gives the place a bit of personality without being tacky. Only complaint about the room is the TV is a bit old.

Also a heads up if you have large luggage or have any injuries or disabilities this hotel doesn't have an elevator so you'd have to walk potentially 4 levels up the stairs while carrying your stuff

Host and staff made us feel more then welcome. Our stay was perfect. The hotel was great. The room was wonderful. Parking is great and the hotel offers a discount at a nearby parking garage. Highly recommend and would stay again at this hotel.

Check in was easy, Mo was welcoming, and happy to answer my questions. The breakfast was excellent for the price (extremely reasonable), and it was a cool space too!

Very cool music themed decor. Close to public transit and dining/shopping options.

We had a great time at Backstage. The location was very central and it was very easy to get around from our spot. The hotel was a great place to take breaks during the day as well.

Narrow, winding staircase to carry your luggage up, no elevator, no A/C. Large people beware, you won’t fit up the stairs

Excellent quaint hotel, great area everything within walking distance. Lovely people at the hotel, who were so friendly and I would highly recommend this lovely place. A special mention to the lovely Argentinan young lady at the hotel who helped so much with all the details back to the airport, and recommendations. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel location is accessible. Frontdesk/manager was very helpful and accommodating.

The hotel was nice and the staff were amazingly friendly. The theme is also very cool. Only thing is the room was very small and warm. The location was good for someone who likes to walk a bit. The trams pass close by. All in all a good experience in tight quarters.

I rate this hotel as excellent in all categories relative to the inexpensive cost. It is a really sweet place with a very good vibe and great location.

No elevator to carry bags

Funky, little place! Loved the atmosphere and decor. Conveniently located to tram, several museums, dining, and parks. Would definitely stay here again.
