Loved our time there in Christchurch especially because we were in that hotel.

The location close to the city.

Cons:

Long black hair strands left on bathroom floor. We had to keep the fan going in the bathroom as it smelt like effluent. Maybe the drains need a good clean.

Bed was not comfortable
Pros:

Staff very welcoming and friendly. And very helpful when there was a system glitch with my booking. The room was quiet and the bathroom was very clean. We didn't dine in the restaurant as they were unable to seat us before 8pm, so can't comment on F&B .

Cons:

The bed matress needed replacing, the sides of the matress were so worn and unsupportive, that we felt like we were slipping off the side of the bed. Very hard to sleep on a slope. I good night sleep is everything.
