It’s in Yosemite, How can you not like it?
It would be really nice if the showers has a little bench to keep your personal stuff off the wet shower floor.
Phenomenal location in Yosemite Village.
Cleaner restrooms and additional seating for two people in the outside dining area.
Clean
Noise from toilets
The location in the valley does it because otherwise you'd have to drive for at least an hour or take a bus to get to most of the hikes starting points and views.
A nice pine forest too, and the views on the mountains are beautiful. You can hear the waterfalls roaring at night!
Free shuttle cruising around the valley for those who do not want to walk much + bicycles are convenient.
Staff at the desk (lovely ladies) saved it a little bit too.
They know they are charging crazy money for this location with pretty much no alternatives (except for RV campgrounds but not everyone has an RV). They know people will be coming despite the very little effort they make to actually make this a nice experience.
The tent wasn't that clean when we just arrived, there were mud and puddles too around many tents. There is no outside seating area except you can sit on the bear box (questionable experience).
Basic kitchen facilities are non-existent and there is no plug for a single charger in the tent (although there is a bulb so there is electricity). No barbeque - at least shared - although firepits are allowed in all the campgrounds nearby. So you are forced to use the restaurants whether you want it or not for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I do not like to be forced and having no choice.
The bed was short (and I am only 5'9).
The bathrooms next to us were closed, the ones further away could use more regular cleaning with the amount of people using them (and there isn't even high season yet).
No wifi except for the reception / restaurant area. Given there's no cell reception mostly.
Would leave a better review if the price they charge wasn't so high, with the basics missing. Love Yosemite valley and everything it has to offer but next time just buying your own tent + camping basics would be a much better experience for probably the same price.
i thought this was perfect. it had ammenities but also the expectation that we would be in a glorified tent
parking that was only for Curry guests even during the day.
Facilities were in great condition, beds were comfortable, and the food options were surprisingly good.
Highly recommend to go in offseason. We were there at the beginning of May and numbers were starting to pick up, I can’t imagine what it’s like in the park middle of summer.
Location was good
No worth the money I paid.
Breakfast combo was standard egg/potatoes/toast or pancake and bacon. Pricing reasonable. Although there were multiple school classes around, there was enough space.
I prefer hot food over lukewarm food ;). Very limited selection but for efficiency it makes sense.
La ubicación es perfecta si tus planes son caminar por el Yosemite Valley
Blisko do zwiedzenia parku yosemite. Dobre oznaczenia. Dobra komunikacja shuttle bus w wiosce.
The atmosphere, the place it was relax, really green 💚 ,love the waterfalls.
Lovely camp site, the tent was perfect, free shuttle right outside the camp for different trailheads. Very nice.
Another blanket would’ve been more than welcome
