The size of the room , I booked a king size bed about 1 month before my stay payed in advance , when I got there they told me they only had 2 single beds left !!!!!!!!!! They told me they would refund me my 200 extra , but I had to contact you first , which has been very difficult
The price does not match the quality you get- over priced for poor quality. Beds are the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Comforters are thin, mattress is extremely hard it feels like you’re sleeping on wood planks, pillows are flat and SO uncomfortable. You cant keep your blinds open because the windows look directly into other people’s rooms. Restaurant menu has minimal options. Valet was chaotic and confusing. Definitely one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in in Boston, unfortunately. I was really looking forward to a weekend away at a “nice” hotel.
The room and the beds were very comfortable. The decor was fantastic and we had everything we needed, even though it was a smaller space.
The neighborhood is an issue. I was disappointed that nearly everything on Portland Street was closed down, and there were homeless people and drug users walking the street and adjoining streets. I know this is a Boston problem, but the area around the hotel felt unsafe at night.
The staff were excellent!
Rooms lack a proper microwave and tea kettle. This makes traveling for work expensive and difficult. I'm not the type to eat out constantly. For the cost of the rooms they should provide some way to reheat a drink or cook a meal.
Very classy, quiet, cleanliness, valet, affordable and the location is ideal for TD Garden events.
Nothing all was wonderful- although wish there was a pool.
Could use bigger pillows for the king size bed and not so fluffy.
