Pros:

The view and staff were very nice. Old hotel charm.

Cons:

There was a clump of hair left in the shower. The shower head sprayed out the top of shower and flooded behind the toilet. The AC did not work but windows opened to cool off the room nicely.

You can’t beat the prime location! Close to everything!

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Elliott in May 2026 and we loved it! Great service, breakfast is really good every morning, very reasonably priced….and….
You can’t beat the central location, it’s close to literally everything. The market is right there down the entire street, the rooftop offers excellent views of Astoria, and don’t forget the relaxing basement as well.
Restaurants and shops all around….then venture out to all the great things to do. Great place to stay!

Dirty!
Pros:

The hotel room was dirty and smelled bad. The carpet was old, dirty, and had a big fold across the room. It needed to be cleaned and stretched. The ceiling fan was literally covered in dust as was the bathroom door. It did have a heated tile floor in the bathroom, but that doesn’t really matter when the rest of the room was not thoroughly clean. Will not stay here again and would not recommend to others.
