Positioning
There was a strong smell of mold
Nothing
Everything
Terrible hotel with staff that are dismissive and non-chalant about everything. We are currently staying here with a group for a special occasion and we had blood stains on the comforter and pink stains on the sheets.
They came and changed the comforter but did not change the sheets. When requested to change the sheets again the front desk asked do you want one sheet or both sheets. I shouldn’t have to specify how to do housekeeping. We had to request twice for the front desk to have housekeeping clean the room. The rooms are really musty and smell like smoke.
The hotel is connected to another hotel sharing the property. To get to the rooftop pool you need to navigate a maze, two buildings and a few elevators.
Overall, this is a low-rate hotel despite the pictures which appear beautiful however are very deceiving. Staff are not personable and don’t seem to care. One good point is the location close to the beach, restaurants, etc. As a TA, I will certainly not recommend this property.
Mgmt would not take calls and has ignored locals pleas to help remove the trapped fledlings. Other hotels (Ritz Carlton) respect wildlife especially birds they are nestling and do not disturb them. The Curio Hiltons must do the same! This is inhumane!
The location was great
I booked a room for 3 people and they kept insisting that I had booked only for 2 even though it clearly showed 3 on my booking.com app. Once this was resolved, we were shown to the room and the room was at 72, we couldn't change the temp on our own. We called in the maintenance which took forever and he said that he has fixed it. The room temp never dropped, it was still 72. The room had barely any toiletries amenities, no microwave, no coffee machine. For the price, the location was the only good thing.
Location and the hotel itself , price value was perfect
La ubicación.
Que la limpiadora tocará la puerta tan temprano y que cuando le decías más tarde pusiera mala cara. La habitación original, tenía defectos. Nos cambiaron de habitación.
This was a disappointment to say the least. The hotel is a dual brand with the not much better Boulan. They share the same lobby/reception so the sign for the reception area on 22nd Street is no longer accurate, it is just the entrance to the restaurant Bella. Once you figure that out and exit through Bella’s kitchen, and through the back corridor to the front of the block to the shared lobby. After you check in and pay the $48 for nightly parking (originally they suggested that I pay street parking out front at $4.25 an hour and re-up it every 3 hours until 3 am, and to go back out to re-up it at 9 am when they start enforcing the next morning. We get to out room, and the hall smells like the Pirates of the Caribbean, so they might have a moisture problem, and our room was no different, not only the cave smell but all the linens and pillows were damp to the touch. Disappointed, we move past that and try to make the best of it, I reach for the remote, it is sticky. Gross. I go to turn on the World Cup Match and the TV isn’t working, we call the front desk, and they send a guy, no English, lucky me wife speaks fluent Spanish, he gets YouTube to work and takes a picture tells his boss it is working fine, but tells the wife the Cable/live TV doesn’t work and suggests we sign up and pay for NBC/Universal subscription if we want to see it. We go to sleep instead, and wake up early and check out as quickly as we could to mitigate the pain we suffered.
very clean and tropical rooms. the AC is top tier and honestly never have gotten such an good sleep in a hotel before. the services they provide is endless and not to mention everything is very close to u walking distance. the beach is about 2 minutes away walking. I always choose liberty park hotel if i want a good sleep, beautiful room, good AC, and endless services.
There were some things I really liked about this hotel and a few things that would make me think twice about staying again.
The room itself was very nice, with attractive décor and a modern feel. The pool area was also a highlight and was a great place to relax during the stay.
The biggest downside was the noise. My room overlooked the restaurant, and it felt like a party was going on right outside the window until around midnight. Just when I thought I’d get a quiet morning, music started up again at about 8am. If you’re a light sleeper or hoping for a peaceful stay, I’d strongly recommend requesting a room away from the restaurant area.
Overall, the property has a lot going for it, particularly the pool, but the noise levels significantly impacted my sleep and because of those wouldn’t recommend.
Location, swimming pool
Boring breakfast, you can’t cross different flavours as in buffet. They were very strict ( one blond lady in specific) you can choose only one option, can’t have sweet and sour in the same breakfast. Limitation is killing the experience. Pool guy charges a lot for having in your glass two sips and rest is ice.
Excelente servicio y atención, el personal muy amable. La comida muy buena. Está a una cuadra de una playa hermosa
El restaurante y bar cierra muy temprano
I’m giving this hotel 2 stars, mainly because the rooftop pool area is the only real highlight—even though you have to go through another hotel to access it.
On arrival, the front of the hotel looks impressive, but unfortunately, this isn’t where you’ll actually be staying. Guests are directed around the back, past the Italian restaurant, and through a rear entrance, which gives a very different first impression.
The rooms were clean, but they are clearly worn and in need of refurbishment.
We stayed here three separate times during a 15-day trip around Florida, using it as a base in Miami. If our bookings hadn’t already been arranged, we would not have returned after the first stay.
The additional charges are excessive—a $42 resort fee per room per night, plus a $100 per night deposit per room, which feels like a complete rip-off. I haven’t yet confirmed whether all deposits have been returned, but if not, I will be raising this with my credit card provider.
The reception staff were disappointing. They seemed poorly trained, inefficient, and unsure of what they were doing. On our third stay, they lost one of our reservations. It took over an hour and a half to resolve, only to find the booking had been there all along—an error on their part. No apology was offered.
I will be informing my travel agency not to book clients into this hotel in the future. And, as expected, I’m sure this review will receive a generic response from management.
