Needs improvement in both customer service and esthetics of the property.

The location is great.

Cons:

The check in person was extremely dismissive and had no interest in answering my questions. Made the start of my stay very uncomfortable. The rooms definitely need updating. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and there will not be a third.

Old hotel that needs some love
Pros:

Great location and close to the beach

Cons:

Old and dated. Yucky carpet from 80”s and dated wall paper. The tiles in our bah tub were mildew and mould. No private light to the bathroom. The bathroom light was connected to the room light and would wake everyone up. This place is downtime and noisy with traffic. Ac didn’t work great either.

Location is great- but the rooms were super noisy with no sort of soundproofing at all.
Pros:

You can hear everything happening outside of your room. From the conversations happening in the room next to you, to the music at the pool across the street and the dump trucks at 5 am... literally everything. The staff at the restaurant was irritated by any request- and the fact that we had a group of 7 with breakfast vouchers. It felt like because we had the vouchers they didn't want to help. I had to ask several times for refills and 1/2 the time it didn't happen. The pool was too cold to swim in- so the kids sat on the balcony and just wished we were at the pool across the street with the loud music and people.

Great stay with nice morning yoga and pilates
Pros:

Great view from the balcony. Pilates with Warm was fantastic. I recommend this hotel close to the beach and will be coming back

Never again
Pros:

No one helped with bags or greeted us on arrival. The pictures did not match the rooms. This hotel is outdated & the bathrooms were super small, there was nothing to place my hygiene products or make up bag on. No laundry bags. Patio door kept getting stuck. Sheets were super thin. No one explained any amenities or that there was a game rm & bar. Pool was disappointing & gym was a cry for help.

Not so accommodating staff
Pros:

We asked for eating breakfast at the hotel one day, but we were told that we had to book it when we booked the room. But in the elevator there was a poster with the text: Buy breakfast at our buffet and get 50% off for the second guest.

Great location, great extras
Pros:

Great location. Really enjoyed the early morning classes on the beach with Julia (yoga & strength training). Julia did a great job! This was a nice offering by the Waikiki Resort Hotel to round out our vacation.
