Ocean Inn is a very nice place to stay with spacious rooms and nice personal touches.
Pros:

Ocean Inn on Nantasket Beach sits in a wonderful location right near one end of the beach and in walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. They even add extra touches like free candy at the check-in desk, as well as chocolates and waters in the rooms.

Cons:

A couple of things for future guests: If you are planning to bring a dog, Ocean Inn has you sign a waiver with several rules (standard) which also includes that the dog must be crated at all times when left alone in the room and cannot be left alone for more than 2 hours. The staff said these were town rules. That is all fine, I just wish it had been relayed to me prior to arrival so we weren't scrambling to find a dog crate! Also, I booked through Booking.com and my pet reservation had not been relayed to the Inn. It was not a problem during check-in, but they did have to add the pet fee at that time. Also, Ocean Inn offers "free cancellation" until a certain date through Booking.com but there is actually a $25 charge if you cancel during the "free cancellation" window. Just an fyi.

Nice, friendly place to stay.
Pros:

Very pleasant and helpful front desk staff.

Cons:

Bathroom design. Must have been designed by a man. No counter space. A tiny shelf to hold things. They need to at least have a hook on the inside of the door to hang a robe. Decent kitchen but no dishes or utensils. Had to request them at the front desk. Perhaps this is something people steal?

We were there to visit historical sites. the staff couldn't have been nicer.
Pros:

The room was large and well kept. the office staff were very friendly. The area has been so overdeveloped with condos that any natural feeling of shoreline has been lost. It is very close to the beach so only a short walk.

Cons:

The bathroom was very small and had no place to put your bathroom items. It was very clean .I would recommend a shower mat as there was no grab bar if you slipped. A minor inconvenience.

Die Mitarbeiterin beim Check in ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit gewesen. Ich habe mich jedes Mal mit ihr unterhalten wenn ich an der Rezeption den kostenlosen Kaffee geholt habe.

Cons:

Es könnte ein bisschen aufgehübscht werden. Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut. Der Teppich im Zimmer war sehr dreckig. Die weißen Socken waren schwarz nach ein paar mal hin und herlaufen
