Beautiful Views
Pros:

Love the view, the hot tub and pool area, and all the wildlife close to the resort. The staff were efficient and friendly as well.

Cons:

There is no air conditioning in the units- it was incredibly uncomfortable as it was so hot during our stay.

Needs a makeover!
Pros:

First stay here in 8 years. Seems like zero maintenance completed in the past 8 years. Shower wouldn’t drain, mould on the bathroom ceiling, oven/stove didn’t work properly, and the hot tub, which has beautiful views, is falling apart. Very disappointed considering what you pay. We checked out early!

Peut-être en raison de l’emplacement, le réseau internet n’est pas fiable. Les laveuses et sécheuses payantes sont munies d’un système de paiement par cartes, qui dépend du réseau… prévoir avoir de l’argent comptant au besoin si du lavage est dans vos plans.

Fantastic location with amenities close to Banff. Great for a family stay.
Pros:

It’s a fantastic location just a few minutes from downtown Banff but it’s quiet, parking is free and you feel secluded. The pool, hot tub and sauna were a treat with a beautiful view. The property provided all people in our unit with free roam passes (busses that take you in Banff).

We had a loft unit with one private bedroom and two beds and a half bath in the loft. The unit was comfortable and well appointed.

Cons:

The inside of the units showed wear and could use a little sprucing up.

Overpriced adequate accommodation
Pros:

The apartment was a good size and had useful amenities inside

Cons:

The apartment was filthy dirty - there were visible thick layers of dust everywhere.
The furniture and aesthetic were very dated.
Our apartment was beneath another and we could hear EVERYTHING above us - walking, talking, even the bath running.
I feel it made it look like you got your own hot tub in some cabins, but it’s just one which was usually full of screaming children treating it like a swimming pool. Parking isn’t allocated to apartments and we arrived late back one night to every space taken.
Given all of the above, and compared to other accommodation in other locations in Canada I would say it was extremely overpriced for budget standards.

Hotel could be absolutely wonderful, but it needs some love.
Pros:

Loved the location, the free shuttle, the hot tub, the beauty of the place. The beds were extremely comfortable. The lobby area was very nice. The staff was friendly.

Cons:

The fireplace was emitting smoke whether the draft was open or not so we could not use it. There was no kindling for the fire. The sliding glass door was difficult to open, the back door screen kept falling off. We asked for a view, they suggested a better room for the view and then at the last minute the manager changed us to a room with a worse view than we had had earlier. We were pleased however that after I complained, he did refund us the “upgrade” fee. There are only a few rooms that have views of the mountains (the ones over the lobby). Most rooms have views of the trees which in and of itself is not bad, but it would have been nice to have been informed earlier. Most rooms have a short flight of stairs going either up or down, so it would be good to know this if you have knee issues. This hotel needs some maintenance. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Great location. Very friendly, helpful, and professional staff! Cleanliness of the room can be better
Pros:

The LOCATION. The VIEW from the pool/hot tub. It was so peaceful and beautiful. I saw wildlife on my way to the resort. I loved the wood fire place inside of the room.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the room. I am so disappointed in the room I had #106. There was so much dust and I have bad allergies. The wallpaper in the room was falling off of the wall and the room was not thoroughly vacuumed or wiped down. The price it is to stay there, I don’t understand why some of that money wouldn’t be put towards upgrades. The view of the mountains from the patio was nice but the grass hadn’t been cut, otherwise it would have been even nicer place to relax in the evenings.
