Pros:

Our room was beautiful, with a view over the pool. It was always beautifully clean and extremely comfortable. The prices at the bar were very reasonable and the bar staff polite and attentive

Cons:

There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but no milk (they gave us a carton when we asked). The tea and coffee were never topped up and I eventually bought my own teabags. In the restaurant at breakfast, they had cereals, yoghourt and porridge but every time you had to ask for a spoon as none were out. The porridge was just oats swimming in milk. On one of the days, there was no normal tea, on another the milk was obviously off as it curdled. The pool towels were more like tablecloths. Prior to our stay, we had contacted the property both via Booking.com and via a direct email to move the dates of our stay as our flights had changed. They never acknowledged the direct email, but on Booking.com on 08/10 we were messaged asking if we were checking in on that day which we were (previous check in was 07/10). However, when we eventually got to the hotel, the dates had not been changed, but it seemed to be resolved. On 19/10, our original checkout day, we were approached by a member of staff telling us that we were supposed to be checking out that day. He was quite aggressive even when we showed him all the messages. Our stay was for 12 nights and we paid for 12 nights. He tried to make us pay for an additional night to stay and told us that we should have contacted the hotel directly to amend the stay. I produced the direct email with evidence that it had been ignored. At that point he took a photo of the email and went away. About 45 minutes later, we were approached by what seemed to be a more senior member of staff, who apologised for the confusion. She was very nice and polite, told us that we could stay in the same room at no extra charge. She told us that although reservations had updated the dates of our stay, it had not been communicated. We were obviously relieved by this, but it rather soured our experience and lost us a couple of hours when we could have been doing other things on our last full day.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Royal Azure Thalasso in Hammamet. We booked a standard room, but since we are newlyweds, the hotel kindly surprised us with an incredible upgrade to one of their most beautiful rooms, with a private pool and an amazing view. It made our stay feel truly special from the moment we arrived.

What impressed us most, beyond the beautiful hotel itself, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, kind, attentive, and professional. Honestly, some of the best service we have ever experienced in a hotel. You can really feel that they care about making guests comfortable and happy.

The food was excellent throughout our stay, with great quality and variety. The hotel is also perfect if you are looking for relaxation — peaceful, beautiful, and very well maintained. The beach was clean and gorgeous, and we visited in October, so I can only imagine how beautiful it must be during the summer.

We also spent a full day at the Blue Azure spa, which was another highlight of our stay. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was extremely relaxing, and the massage was amazing. It was the perfect day to completely disconnect and unwind.

Overall, this was a truly memorable experience, especially for us as newlyweds. From the room upgrade and private pool to the food, beach, spa, and exceptional staff, everything exceeded our expectations.

A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We would definitely recommend Royal Azure Thalasso to anyone visiting Hammamet, especially couples looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway. We would happily come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
