Pros:

Everything was clean, good bed. Nice coffee machine in the room, nice staff.

Cons:

Very loud music at the street. It is hard to fall asleep. According to the local bylaws, they can play until 2:30am. I learnt it from a staff member.
The hotel is far nit that new as it looks st the pictures. I would rate it between 6 and 7.

Needs some TLC
Pros:

Valet parking, location and convenience of lounge and breakfast

Cons:

The property needs a renovation. I remember it was a pretty nice property 15 years ago and now it’s run down. Prices reflect the conditions - so it’s very affordable but I’m not sure I would stay again because of how undown it’s gotten.

Pros:

I liked that the staff was friendly.

Cons:

The room had so much dust and the room was small compared to the price. The air conditioning was not working it was super hot in the room.

Pros:

Location was good for our purposes. (Except for the parking 2 blocks away)
Breakfast was very good.

Cons:

Looked like it was once quite a nice hotel, but very tired. Broken bedside lamps, grate had fallen off a vent, paint chipped and some loose tiles in the shower.
Also, the room was very cold and the thermostat turned on a fan but made no difference to the room temperature.

It's the first time that we stayed at Metterra and we'll definitely be back.
Pros:

Excellent location in the Garneau area with plenty of restaurants and walking areas nearby. The breakfast was excellent and the service was great. Our room was very quiet.

Cons:

The only downside was that parking is a block and a half away, and with temperatures of -20C it was a little subpar. Highly recommend paying the extra $5/day for valet parking if this is an issue.

Pros:

Friendly front desk, the hotel was clean , our room was clean and spotless, bed is neatly made , towels was white spotless , I only didn’t figure out how to use the coffee machine but my bad :) The mattress is a bit soft for me , and the pillows are old , but overall we had a good sleep .
