Leaking toilet
Pros:

Balcony sea view and room

Cons:

The base of the toilet was leaking in room 403 and we complained to the front desk. They couldn't change our room and the maintenance person had already left for the day.

Will not return got screwed over multiple ways

It was on the beach

Cons:

First we ordered a king size bed when we got there they said all the rooms were taken when we finally got a room the ac was broken and after awhile they had finally sent a handy man to fix it for two hours he vacuumed the ac unit it finally started working and we thought that was all but no we woke up and the ac leaked all over the floor. We tried to get another room and they said to come back later to get our king size bed room and that was not tru they were promising other people the king size rooms. Also I’ve never been to a hotel where every customer complains about something the food the rooms the service could all be better and I’m hoping for a change also if someone is reading this maybe I can get a small refund because they didn’t have the room I paid extra for

Hotel Needs Updating
Pros:

Very outdated. Room was dirty (actual dirt on the desk, stained carpet). Wifi service is substandard. Bathroom door and fixtures need replacing. Location on the beach was excellent, but no balcony chairs to enjoy the ocean view. Breakfast was very good. Pool was nice, although water was a little cold.

Pros:

Dirty room, needs updating. There are no chairs on the balcony. Carpet was filthy and ripped. My daughter chose to go back and stay at her dorm instead of staying with me because of the filthy carpet. This hotel is dated and needs attention. The bed is a spring mattress that creaks. Compared to other Hyatt hotels that I have stayed at, this one falls short.

This hotel needs some serious work!
Pros:

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We reserved a specific room type nearly a year in advance and still were not given what we booked. Management showed little to no concern and made no meaningful effort to fix the situation.

The condition of this property is unacceptable. It is poorly maintained, visibly run down, and clearly suffering from long-term neglect. Most concerning of all was the cleanliness — both the room and common areas were far below even basic hotel standards. This does not come close to what anyone should expect from a Hyatt property.

Overall, this hotel is badly managed, poorly maintained, and not properly cleaned. We deeply regret staying here and would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone!!

Pros:

This hotel is dated and worn. Needs an update. Our shower was poorly caulked, water pressure was low. Mirror was erroding. The carpet was stained. It does have a beautiful view and nice location.
