Really nice place

4 days stay. Hotel belongs to a complex of 5 houses with green area surrounding.
++ located very central to the center, just up the hill
++ impressive neighbourhood; villas, Russian chirch, etc.
++ nice view over Karlovy Vary on top
++ spacious Hotel +rooms, good breakfast service
+ Hotel service in general a bit demure/ reticent and serious (which is generally czech style), do not misunderstand, it's good service.
+ spacious pool area good for swimming,
- the price inculded wellness area is constricted
- fitness room closed in mornings, not before 10a.m. and also unclear access
in total recommended. we will come again.

Das Frühstücksbufett ist schlicht aber ausreichend. Der Pool und die Saunen sind schön und es war auch nicht überfüllt. Die Massage war angenehm, nur war es in dem Raum etwas kalt.

Address on Expedia was way off. Parking is very limited and the nearest parking is 1 kilometer away. Staff at night had very limited English capability. Smoking areas were right outside all entrances which was not pleasant. Facilities were amazing and the view to the city was beautiful but I will stay in the city next time.

Das Parken in diesem Hotel lässt den Urlaub sehr unschön beginnen. Es gibt keine wirklichen Alternativen und am Ende muss man die Security bestechen, um auf dem Gelände parken zu können. Andernfalls parkt man mehrere hundert Meter abseits.
Eine Silvesterkarte für 220 € ist schlichtweg Wucher und völlig überzogen.

Great hotel, very comfortable room, fantastic pool and sauna! The breakfast should be better for 4 stars hotel.

The property is clean and nice. Has a beautiful view.
The reason for 4/5 stars is for hard access to the building if you have a stroller. Stairs are everywhere and not enough lifts or ramps

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Excellent buffet breakfast and bar. The pool and jacuzzi are
clean and relaxing. Thai massage is very relaxing, it's a must. The staff are nice and welcoming. On the downside, there is no tea/coffee maker in the room and there was no drinking water in the fridge.

Great : The location is on one side few minutes (and a couple of stairs!) away from downtown and on the other side right to the forest and green parks.
Difficult: Parking needs to be reserved before, in the area very difficult to park outside hotel especially in high season times like the film festival.

Gutes Hotel, deutsch eher schlecht .

Trotz einer bestätigten Reservierung war bei unserer Ankunft kein Parkplatz verfügbar. Die Notwendigkeit, unser Fahrzeug 1,6 Kilometer entfernt abzustellen, war nicht nur unerwartet, sondern auch äußerst unpraktisch, insbesondere da der Fußweg zum Hotel – entgegen der Aussage der Rezeption, es würde nur 10 Minuten dauern – aufgrund der steilen Hanglage des Hotels deutlich länger in Anspruch nahm.

Des Weiteren war die Reaktion des Personals an der Rezeption auf unsere Situation enttäuschend. Anstatt die Möglichkeit eines elektronischen Übertragungsfehlers oder eines Missverständnisses in Betracht zu ziehen, wurde beharrlich darauf bestanden, dass eine Reservierung unsererseits unmöglich sei. Selbst der vorgelegte Screenshot unserer vorherigen Kommunikation mit dem Hotel führte zu keiner Lösung des Problems.

Auch bei einem erneuten Versuch am folgenden Tag, das Problem mit anderen Mitarbeitern zu klären, wurden wir lediglich mit Schuldzuweisungen konfrontiert, ohne jegliche Form der Entschuldigung. Der Service ließ leider sehr zu wünschen übrig und erinnerte eher an den rauen Umgangston, den man aus Zeiten des Ostblocks kennt.

Meget godt værelse med stor altan vendt mod byen. Nye toilet og badefaciliteter.
Poolen var desværre lukket pga. reparation indtil medio april. Dette fremgik ikke da vi bestilte fra Hotels.com, hvor vi specifikt havde søgt med adgang til svømmepool.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It’s perched on the top of the hill that leads to the old town Karlovy Vary. Great location, easy walk (if you’re in shape going back up). The furnishings were a bit dated and the pool/ hot tub was nice. The entire staff was fantastic. Free breakfast included. Not a place for families with kids. You must reserve one of the limited parking spots (10 Euro a night). The old town was pristine (very clean) and prices good. Had a great stay!

Nice location, good food. However, not very nice and helpful staff.

I like especially its beautiful wellness centrum with plesantly warm water.
