Nice hotel
Pros:

Would have been a full 10 but our first room was ridiculously hot windows could not open much.
lucky we got a upgrade to air-conditioning room but if we have not we would have given you a 1 star as was nothing like I had ever experienced.
But rooms was all done up clean and bar and swimming pool was great.
You need air-conditioning in every room.

Very happy with my stay, would highly recommend, and would stay here again without question :)
Pros:

The staff were exceptional, both before my stay when I requested a quieter room, and on the days of the stay itself when our rooms needed to be swapped because the shower wasn't working in one. I was staying for the Miss Great Britain Kent regional final and the staff were very helpful during the pageant itself when I needed their help with zero notice.

Cons:

The strength of the shower is very weak, and the rooms get very hot and stuffy, even with the cooling fan and the Dyson fan on.

Great hotel, just not in summer....
Pros:

Modern, great facilities, and fun place to stay. Decent food, perfect location.

Cons:

Don't stay here when weather is above 25 degrees. It's absolutely madness that a hotel in 2026 doesn't have air conditioning. My kids were grumpy, hot and too tired. Sadly.

Served a purpose.
Pros:

Good location for a stop off from Leeds before catching ferry from Dover the next day .

Cons:

No aircon and it was so hot. Dyson fan in room but was so noisy and didn’t make any difference to the heat. Would expect a modern hotel to have aircon.
Complete lack of vegan food in the bar. Arrived late evening and looked forward to a meal before heading off to bed.
The staff tried hard to accommodate and I ended up with oven chips and salsa and jalapeños. It was passable but really no excuse to have zero vegan offerings.

Location was good for purpose

Cons:

Village hotel continue advertise sky sports but many of the rooms continue to not have this service, and staff that do not know how to operate the room channels ‘require a engineer’ to support, I wonder how they do it at home, just poor excuses for lazy staff

Would stay again is Aircon is in all rooms
Pros:

It was new, fresh and clean. Had a wellness centre and Starbucks. The bed was comfortable and the staff I interacted with were lovely and helpful

Cons:

The room was literally 10000 degrees and the 2 fans provided did nothing to help, apparently there is air con but only in club rooms. You have to pay £5 for parking and breakfast is £12.50
