Great facilitoes great staff
Its a drive away from.shops
The room was clean and felt spacious and newly refurbished. Beds were nice.
Receptionist was very pleasant and good at giving the information.
Pool was a nice size, our child loved hanging out there and good place to cool down when hot.
It was during the hot temp( 26-28 degrees) but the room was like a sauna. No aircon to cool it down. But room had been provided with two (weak) fans to blow cold air but both couldn’t be positioned near the beds. So 2 painful eves/nights with no proper rest.
Paying for parking
Parking in front of the hotel, very friendly staff, nice clean new rooms, the quality of the food in the restaurant was great!
The staff was friendly and warm. The pool was good, enjoyed the facilities there.
The room was terrible. Beds and pillows massively uncomfortable. It gave me an awful neck and back pain. The mattress was too springy. I shared the bed with my child and each time he moved his hand or leg it kind of shook the bed disturbing my sleep. I normally love the pillows in the hotels but can't say the same here.. our room was facing some back storage, loading and transit area and I think it was a recycling collection day so there was an awful noise of glass bottles early in the morning. How i wanted to cry... The room was terribly warm so had to sleep with windows open so the music that was playing till late kept us awake and the noise in the morning woke us early. It was meant to be a holiday, not this.. there is inadequate ventilation in the bathrooms. It gets too suffocating inside. I kept one fan facing towards the bathroom with the door open whenever not in use to air it whatever I could. The extractor fan didn't seem to work and when I mentioned i was explained that it works at specific times and was offered other room too but if it was the same there I didn't want to go through the trouble of moving my stuff. The good comfortable room counts a lot in a stay away from home.
Breakfast was good, lots of choice both hot and cold
Room was very warm, 3 people sharing with no air con!
Lighting poor, had to ask for extra lamp! Couldn’t see to unpack!!
On arrival only 2 of everything ie: towels, cups etc…
Location and nice bar area
Room was too dark, poor lighting, no wardrobe space and had to pay extra for car parking
Staff was nice and friendly, food was okay
Bed was uncomfortable, only 1 chair to sit in other then on the bed when there is 2 guess, very very noisy due to having party's and gym ect open bar and garden to everyone doesn't feel like a hotel more a activity place for anyone even if your not paying to stay there, over priced for the fact its a place for anyone
The location. The house keeping staff were very friendly.
The whole check in process. I’m not on your payroll so why is your ‘receptionist’ making me input all my details onto her screen. It’s her job, not mine.
Also, who stops serving breakfast at 9am on a weekday and why is it an extra £5 if I decide on the morning that I want one rather than order it the night before. What a scam. They are the same sausages and bacon😂
I had a club room which appeared to be missing some furniture. Why all that space by the window? Maybe a chair or a lamp would be a better use of that space instead of it looking like an unfinished room.
Oh yeah, thanks for the ONE melted chocolate club bar. Great idea for two guests.
Pool was excellent
Room was too hot - needs AIRCON!!!!
Easy to use self check-in with staff to help if needed. Good location just off motorway. Free parking for guests.
Could use all gym facilities for an extra cost if required.
Perfect for Dover ferries
The beds were comfortable but getting on them.was a problem, they are very high, so you need steps to get on them. The room was a long walk with stairs after i said we had mobility issues.
