Solent Hotel and Spa

This was our second stay but we were slightly less impressed this time. We upgraded to a suite this time and unfortunately were positioned by the lifts and these kept us awake in the night. Furthermore the swimming pool was having issues on the morning of our check out. It was significantly cooler than it had been the previous evening and we were not informed until we were in the water, this wouldn't necessarily have been a big problem but we had taken our 3 month baby in and it was just too cold to let him stay in the water. We could have been informed as we came into the spa and we probably would have just kept him dry and warm.

We probably wouldn't stay again

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with my spa therapist Michaela. From the moment the treatment began, they made me feel completely relaxed, comfortable, and well cared for. Their professionalism, skill, and attention to detail were outstanding. They took the time to understand my needs and tailored the treatment perfectly, ensuring every moment felt therapeutic and rejuvenating.
The pressure, technique, and flow of the treatment were exceptional, and I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and revitalized. It’s clear they are passionate about what they do and truly care about their clients’ wellbeing.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality spa experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing facial by Grace, would definitely go back for a treatment with her. Disappointing as there was a problem with the boiler so the pool was cold, but hotel are letting us have a return visit for free. May have to book in another treatment with Grace as it was exceptional.

Customer service was exemplary, went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. My wife was taken to hospital during the visit and the team were very accommodating and supportive during a difficult time. Food was thoroughly enjoyable, hotel public areas had a lovely atmosphere. I couldn't recommend this hotel and praise the staff enough

Excellent spa and friendly staff. The lunch was delicious, with very friendly and efficient service from our waitress, Shirley. Would definitely go again.

We enjoyed the selection of food at breakfast time. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna.

Excellent, warm & professional service from Lilya. I chose the halibut from the seasonal menu - it was absolutely delicious!

The bed was comfortable. Nice selection of tea coffee in the room.

We have visited the Solent Hotel & Spa before and because of our last and this visit we will visit again. Rooms are large and this time we had a separate sitting room off the bedroom. The food is delicious and the spa is everything you could want with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, pool and gym. The facilities are clean and it’s a joy to be there. The breakfast and dinners are well prepared and delicious. There is a good bar area and the staff friendly and accommodating, a special mention for our dinner waitress Shri.
Highly recommended.

Had a nice day at the spa. A facial was included in the package. Jo who did the facial was very knowledgeable and ensured the products were safe for my skin as I have allergies.
Afternoon tea was included and they were able to accommodate my restrictive diet. All in all a fab day.

Breakfast was lovely, spa great and our room was good too!

Had a taster back massage with Hannah as part of my Spa Membership package. As usual facilities were very good & massage was excellent.

The Solent Spa is a lovely hotel, the Spa area and pool is very relaxing. I use the pool area regularly and I recently had a pedicure with Hannah C who was so friendly and professional right from her welcome at reception, I am really pleased with the treatment and the outcome, my nails look great.
