Room service didn’t answer phone so couldn’t get food or oat milk delivered for the room.
Shower curtain sticking to us during shower, really got in the way and made the shower annoying!
Odd plug socket locations not very practical
Place was clean and good location to many kids stuff if you're driving.
Expensive for what I paid. Had to pay extra for pool, and breakfast, despite the almost 200 quid a night stay for a slightly bigger room because I have two kid's.
room was very comfortable and spacious. restaurant and bar were very pleasant with plenty of space and a good menu. the spa facility was excellent, well staffed and well run.
my in bath shower was a hassle. The shower head was fixed so I couldn't position it at a convenient angle. The curtain sat too far into the bath, making the space cramped. But that is my only negative feedback.
Hotel is clean, well presented.
Gym facilities are good, pool is great (especially having a kid free time)
Check in is after 3pm, we arrived at 4:30pm and the room was still not ready, had to wait an extra hour until after 5pm to get the room.
Entrance needs cleaning due to pigeon waste from the nesting birds, guests need moving from the entrance as walking through clouds of 2nd Hand Smoke is not delightful
Room is not worth £380+ for a 2 night stay, and breakfast is not work £20
Bathroom facilities are in need of a serious upgrade, shower is good however you cannot alter the shower head and jet is directed to stomach and groin area; you have to crouch down to get the top half of your body wet, it is ideal for someone that is 5'4".
Great hotel. We stayed for a night after visiting Paulton's park and found it absolutely perfect for what we needed. We loved the the pool and spa, our room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious with lots of choice, convenient amenities (e.g water/milk dispensers on floor, EV charging) and other little touches that made it special such as the staff leaving a birthday treat for my daughter in the room. Would happily stay again.
We had a meal at the pub on site. Good atmosphere but the food was very average.
The staff were lovely
Silver fish Bugs in the bath, unclean shower and just over all unclean
Did not eat breakfast but the dinners were very good. There was meant to be a milk station but we could not find it but the bar staff were great so it did not matter.
Having to stand in a bath for a shower and battle with the safety handle that sticks out of the wall where you are showering. There was nowhere sensible to stand the shower gel and shampoo.
