Sheraton Grand Krakow

Best hotel in Krakow! No better location and no better staff and service. The business lounge is fantastic and arguably the best in the business, the restaurant (Anima) is also delicious with a great selection of high-end, high-quality meals. In short this whole hotel is amazing and it all starts at the top with their GM Apostolos and number two, Jakub. Professional and personable, they have instilled a sense of pride and teamwork in all of the staff at the Sheraton Grand. I had a great trip and I will be back. When I do, the Sheraton Grand is the only place I will stay.

From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more polite and helpful. Our room (358) was spacious, had a good sized bathroom , there was a good range of shower gel / shampoo and conditioner. There was plenty of hot water. The room had good tea and coffee making facilities and the water bottles were replaced daily. The mini bar was well stocked (although we did not use any of it), the beds were very comfy. You can screen share your own Netflix account via your mobile which was good.

We ate twice in the Italian restaurant (Amino), we have to praise Maria (the restaurant manager), she spoke excellent English and was very helpful and very attentive. ( she remembered our drinks from the previous meal, so a high attention to detail). The food was very good and I would recommend eating in the restaurant . We did eat in the sports bar, which unfortunately was not a good. There were only two members of staff and the bar was very busy and you had to feel for them with no additional support being given, The food was OK but I would probably not recommend the sports bar for somewhere to eat.

The breakfast was outstanding, so much selection and again the staff were really attentive. It exceeded our expectations.

The reception staff were great and always very helpful. They organised a taxi to take us back to the airport, as there were 4 of us, they organised a larger vehicle, the taxi driver was brilliant (so if he is a regular taxi driver for the hotel, he needs to be kept on), his English was very good and we learnt a lot about Poland in the 25 min journey to the airport. A great asset to the hotel!

Overall, this is a fantastic hotel and worthy of its 5 stars. We would highly recommend it, the location is great, you can walk to a lot of places, like the old Town, the Jewish quarter.

What a fantastic experience! From the second we were greeted at the door of our taxi to the second we (and our luggage) were loaded back into our transfer, our time at this hotel has been wonderful. Friendly staff (though the same can’t be said of the majority of other visitors), amazing breakfast buffet and the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in.
Nothing was too much trouble and even though there was only one robe in our room, it was not needed but I feel sure if I had asked, it would have appeared without hesitation. The shower was hot and powerful, lovely toiletries, hair dryer, iron and board, nespresso machine, large tv and a lovely view of warwel castle.
The pool was a little disappointing: very small and very cold but not an issue as I jumped into the jacuzzi after!

Excellent hotel in great location for exploring Krakow. Breakfast has huge choice and variety. Dinner in the restaurant also excellent with varied menu - based around Italian cuisine. Maria the manager is outstanding and cannot do enough for you. Even after one visit she remembered what we drank and how we liked it served. Reception staff also superb and could not have been more helpful. All in all a great stay and somewhere we hope to return to.

On arrival in Poland ( a three hour delay getting through customs) we checked in at 21.30. Staff on reception were excellent and we managed to get through to the restaurant 10 minutes before it closed the kitchen.
Maria, in charge of the restaurant, sorted out our need for food( we had not eaten since lunchtime).
We were tired and harassed but Maria made us feel welcome and gave us time to relax.
Thank you to the hotel staff for their efficient and friendly handling of our arrival.

Outstanding place. Phenomenal service and friendly atmosphere. Rooms are specious and view breathtaking. I stayed there with family and solo - all stays amazing.

Excellent hotel, very service oriented and friendly staff. I always think that the staff makes the 5 stars, not the facilities(despite the hotel itself being incredible including the breakfast and spa). Everyone I encountered was so friendly, professional and willing to help.

Special mention to Alicja who made us feel very welcome, was very warm and did an amazing check in!!! She’s an example of great customer service :)

Wiktoria also at the breakfast was very attentive with my vegan food which I really appreciate. And Dawid from concierge who gave us some good advice on where to visit in Krakow :)
