The Victoria

We booked a room upon arrival and took a room for 250 euros. We got the room 104 on the ground floor. The room was ok, bur very dark and the worse was the view which was just impossible. We have been travelling and working in tourisme for 40 years and really, you can NOT have clients pay so much moneyfor a room looking out to a wal and a dirty and untidy backplace. It was depressing and claustrophobic.

I should have visited the room before agreeing upon staying but we were firstly tired and secondly not imagening something like this could exist regarding the standards of this hotel.

When checking out we expressed our disappointment and the lady (very kind) asked us to write to the management before putting anything on TripAdvisor, which I did. Never got any answer ! That is why 1 star and not 3. Just taking the clients money...

Breakfasts were great. Beautiful hotel and room.

The property is charming with lots of character and a lovely lounge on the second floor.

I had such a lovely experience at this hotel, and a huge part of that was thanks to Maura at reception. She was incredibly welcoming, warm, and even addressed us by our names throughout our stay, which made everything feel so much more personal and thoughtful.

One moment that really stood out was when I complimented the perfume she was wearing — not only did she tell me what it was, but she kindly let me spray some myself! It was such a small but memorable gesture that perfectly reflected her friendly and generous personality. My partner then bought me the perfume for my birthday!

Maura truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and valued. She is an absolute credit to the hotel, and her hospitality made our stay even more special. The hotel itself is stunning and I will be staying again.

The location was fantastic even with the rain, you still can go to the beautiful park and get outside to enjoy the nature. It was close enough to town to enjoy but yet far enough to feel peaceful and quiet to relax The bartender make great drinks and the food was good

What a lovely jewel box of a hotel! So appreciated the luxury after 20 days of road adventures. Our space was very clean, very quiet and contained many thoughtful details . The wonderful front desk managers Maria and Maura were fantastic at answering questions and helping us make the most of our time. The restaurant staff were very attentive and the bar was lovely. We hope to visit again

Facilities were modern and clean.
Our Arbotour suite was very nice with comfortable king, seperate seating area, jacuzzi and fridge. The staff were friendly and helpful. Decent location, 20 min walk to centre of town. Close drive to most attractions, trail heads in the national park.

De kamer was heel ruim met een heerlijk bed en fijn bubbelbad. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en het ontbijt is uitstekend.

We had a wonderful stay in the Victoria last night. We had the warmest of welcomes from Maura on our arrival. A true Irish welcome.
We were in a beautiful recently refurbished room. It was really comfortable with lovely decor and a huge shower. I didnt want to get out!
We slept like logs in the very comfortable bed.
Breakfast was super. Great choices and all served to the table.
Every staff member we met was so helpful and seemed very happy in their work which created a lovely ambience
The hotel itself is very comfortable and relaxing.
When we were checking out this morning we met the lovely Maura again and she was so genuinely interested in how our stay had gone.
We assurred her it had gone great and we look forward to returning soon.
A great place to stay if visiting Killarney.

So accommodating to a last minute additional person. The breakfast was really good. Rachel at the front desk was so helpful for a restaurant and taxi.

We had dinner the service was so slow so not great if your in a hurry but meal was very good

Le personnel était super gentil et accueillant.
L'hôtel est très charmant. La chambre était spacieuse et le lit extrêmement confortable. La situation de l'hôtel était parfait aussi: à 5min en voiture du centre ville et à 15min à pied du très beau parc national de Killarney.
Petit déjeuner très copieux et bien servi.

Beatiful place. Great location right across from Killarney park. Had a yummy Curry chicken dinner in their restaurant. Also yummy Irish Breakfast. Super friendly and helpful staff.
