Total enjoyment, superb value for money and without doubt will be back.
Pros:

Food quality was excellent and overall standard of service was fantastic.
Maura on reception is fantastic.
Walk to Killarney centre was perfect, about 20 minutes.
Service in restaurant was to class and a special mention for Aine, a true professional, so friendly and obliging.

Pros:

Excellent personalized service, intimate atmosphere, wonderful staff and owner and very good food. In addition the lounge areas on floors 2 and 3 wonderful to sit in; tasteful interior; short walk to town and to National Reserve lake

Cons:

Luxury Alder room was a bit disappointing as ours was where building roof slopes down so felt a bit cramped vs similar rooms down the corridor; shower area also had sloping roof which was not ideal

The location is somewhat isolated, which has its advantages and disadvantages. On one hand, the tranquility and seclusion can provide a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. However, if you prefer to explore the area on foot, be prepared for a walk of at least 20 to 40 minutes to reach downtown. This distance may limit spontaneous outings, but it also offers a chance to enjoy the surrounding scenery.
