Beautiful location in the heart of Boston
Pros:

Very beautiful location in the headquarters of the police building, central and very close to the park and bakeries.

Cons:

Overall everything was really nice, a little wardrobe space was missing and the blackout blinds weren’t working properly so we got a lot of light in the morning

Beautiful and spacious hotel with great amenities, location and staff.
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, and in a great location. A fantastic building, staff were very nice. Bathrooms and amenities wonderful - especially in the more modern remodeled rooms!

Cons:

Just a few glitches, remote for blinds wasn't working, it was a holiday so lived with that, and also you can hear some street noise - not double paned windows. In the heart of town - so perhaps to be expected. But everything else divine.

Ótima localização, quarto e banheiro ótimos e o restaurante do hotel é muito bom! Fica perto da Newbury (5 minutos) e de metrôs.

Great service, location, food--and affordable too! Our new go-to spot when in Boston
Pros:

This hotel was new to us (we typically stay out in Brookline) but b/c our holiday dinner reservations were in town, decided to try out the AKA Back Bay. And now IT will be our go-to for Boston stays. The terrific service started even before we arrived (when I queried whether we could make sure our room would have a couch). That need was quickly met AND we were offered a very reasonably priced upgrade to a bigger room. Our 1ast night meal in the hotel restaurant met or exceeded the other meals we enjoyed in Boston--service superb, food extremely tasty. A quick stop in the bar on Christmas Eve was equally enjoyable: holiday movies on TV, staff upbeat and happy to see us. From value to cleanliness to service: everything top-notch. And for a center-of-Bost location, can't be beat. Our stay for Christmas in Boston was one of our best ever.

Consistent Outstanding Service
Pros:

As always the aka Back Bay reception staff is always outstanding. Ryan and team are exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming.
We only stay at aka Back Bay when in Boston, which is quite frequent, and the staff and accommodations are the reason why.

Haven’t stayed at the property since its first hotel inception the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly the only complaint was that the valet on checkout day was a little short staff took a little long for to retrieve the car than expected but would definitely stay here again

Feels overpriced for what it is but overall an acceptable hotel to stay at.
Pros:

The gym was barely acceptable and the hotel was not busy. The rooms were relatively comfortable. Staff is friendly and location was pretty good. The room comes with free day passes to equinox which is kind of awesome.

Cons:

The overall interior seemed dated which is perhaps expected for Boston. The toilet seats are freaking cold.

Best Service!
Pros:

We came to Boston convinced nothing tops Texas hospitality… and AKA Back Bay proved us wrong.

The hotel was fantastic, but the real stars were Ms. Enisa and Ms. Keisi. Their warmth, attention, and effortless care made our stay incredibly comfortable and genuinely enjoyable. Service like theirs turns a great hotel into a memorable experience.

Boston, you win this round. AKA Back Bay we will be back!
