My wife and I needed a place close to TD stadium picked Back Bay and found a perfect Boston hotel fantastic service and people with a shoutout to the Valet and his team reasonably priced quiet clean and extremely comfortable

The hotel was lovely. Very clean and the staff very accommodating. Christopher Che took very good care of our luggage while we toured around Boston. He’s a very kind gentleman.

Modern, efficient, friendly staff and great location.

First experience with this chain. Won't be the last. Loved the location and history of the building (former Boston police headquarters). Check-in was effortless. Front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Room was attractively decorated--size about what you expect for Boston. The Back Bay location meant it was easy for us to get around, either on foot or to anywhere else after a short walk to the T.
As for food and beverage, we only had cocktails--using a $100 Amex credit. Restaurant prices are on the high side, even for the area. Paying $23 for eggs and has browns doesn't cut it, and that's without coffee, tax and tip, so you're then verging on $40. That's too much. Instead, we ate breakfast at Tatte (a short walk over to Clarendon Street) and Flour Bakery (basically behind the hotel). For less than $40 you can get breakfast (and coffee) for two.
Aside from that, more than happy to return. And I suspect we will.

I’ve been travelling to AKA on a monthly basis for the last few months for business. Everytime I’m there the front desk, room service and bar staff have been nothing but fabulous. Big shout out to Ryan who has helped me a few times when I’ve been in a pinch. If you can, spend your vacation/trip in one of their platinum rooms. They are beautiful! Always looking forward to returning.

We enjoyed our stay here - especially after a long week of travel in MA staying at far lesser hotels along our trip. The hotel is clean and bright and staff is kind and went the extra mile to help us with advice for our stay. Special shoutouts to Cegar the valet who helped make our snowy and wet arrival easier and Chris Cha the bellman who made getting all of our items to our room a breeze. We’ll be back.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel AKA Back Bay. The location is perfect — right in Back Bay and within easy walking distance of many attractions in Boston. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well maintained.
What impressed us most was the exceptional service. An unfortunate housekeeping mistake occurred during our stay, but the team handled it with professionalism, sincerity, and efficiency. Management followed up personally, and made every effort to ensure we felt taken care of.
Their integrity and commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out. We are very grateful for the way everything was handled and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at AKA in Back Bay. Very accessible from everywhere. Great spacious clean rooms. Chris, the doorman was very attentive, proactively suggesting umbrellas and fetching them for us. We felt well cared for. Thank you!

Spent a long weekend in Boston with my daughter and stayed at Hotel AKA Back Bay. We loved it! Location could not be better and we were able to walk almost everywhere. The room was large and very comfortable. We enjoyed some of the special activities offered by the hotel, including a Saturday morning yoga class, and hot chocolate in the afternoon. We would definitely stay here again when in Boston.

Exceptional experience. Kind staff from the valet to housekeeping. Delicious food and a front desk experience that helps the guest feel valued. We had to change our plans and leave two days earlier and even though we booked through our credit card, they were happy to give us a refund on the last two nights. Going to Boston, stay at Aka Back Bay! You'll be happy you did.

Hotel AKA Backbay is very beautifully appointed and our room was very comfortable. The employees are very attentive, professional and all have cheerful dispositions!

I had a wonderful experience, and I’d especially like to recognize employees Giber Zegarra & Criss Che for their exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, Giber was professional, attentive, and genuinely cheerful. He handled everything with ease and made us feel welcome right away.
Criss was also very professional and endearing. The moment he saw our fur baby (Terrier/Yorkie), he immediately went to get him a ball and gave us a cute dog-waste bag dispenser!

What stood out most was how informative and approachable they both were—happy to answer questions and offer helpful guidance without ever seeming rushed. Both Giber & Cris were very friendly and both had amicable demeanors, which truly enhanced our stay and set a positive tone from the start.

It’s clear that great care is taken in both the design of the hotel and the level of service provided by the entire team—especially Giber and Cris, who clearly take great pride in their work.
Excellent service like this does not go unnoticed—thank you!!!!
