Generally speaking, this was a good stay. Room was spacious and adequate for my 4 night trip. Was clean and organized but showing a little bit of age, to be expected over time, nothing glaringly bad. Climate control was good, not overly loud. Beds were comfortable, good pillows. Basic toiletries were provided in the bathroom. Biggest negative of the room was lack of drawer space (there were rollout wire racks under the tv but not good for clothes/shoe storage) and very small closet with only a few hangers. Made it difficult to hang dress attire to get wrinkles out or fit everything in general. Morning breakfast was generally pretty good, coffee was available 24/7, decent seating for breakfast was available and the food selections were changed daily and generally well prepared for a free breakfast, along with standard staples in the morning like cereal, fruit, pastries and breads. Staff was friendly and attentive during the limited interactions we had with them. As far as cost versus value, I recommend shopping around. The street noise and sirens almost all day long make it very difficult to sleep or concentrate to get work done. The area the hotel is located in is not a “desirable” one as there were police presence around the neighborhood consistently 24/7, homeless, beggers and drug use near the property and armed private security patrolled through the lobby. Other locations may be more desirable due to similar costs for better location.
This hotels location is not in the best part of the city. Connected to a methadone clinic.
Nice room, friendly staff.
The lighting in the room was terrible. Once it got dark we could not see in half of the room. There were no directions for how to work the remote so we could not get to the channel we wanted to watch. The toilet didn’t flush properly, the microwave didn’t work right. The facility itself was nice and the staff was nice also.
Very noisy. Next to a hospital. Sirens and beeping all night long.
The shuttle services were much appreciated and the shuttle driver very helpful and friendly. Marta, our housekeeper was very friendly and uplifting.
Staff and service were excellent. Rooms dated, rugs vacuumed but stained, gross.
The place was clean and decent, the security guards outside are awesome! They help you out on where to go and make the place feel safer. Really awesome security team that definitely needs a raise!
Hotel is nice, area around it is probably the worst in Boston with drug addicts everywhere, but you see that the work is put in to keep them as far as possible from you, but it’s not practical walking to your car and having to be ready for confrontation with a drug head that’s high as a kite!
Nice rooms
So turns out this is not a good part of Boston to stay in so I wouldn’t recommend walking back to the hotel at night. Take an uber. The rooms were definitely not upgraded and not as clean. But the staff was friendly and I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.
Constant sirens from the hospital next door. Carpet in room worn md torn.
Felt dirty. Bathroom floor was not well cleaned. The linen on the bed felt very rumpled and not at all fresh. The noise on the eighth floor at 7AM from the athletic club and the roaring of the treadmill above was so loud we couldn’t go back to sleep. It was so disappointing and overpriced for what we got. We left early because of it. We wanted to enjoy a late relaxing morning but that was totally impossible. Breakfast was also a severe disappointment. The selection was slim, the tables were not cleaned from previous users and we would have liked produce that was more fresh. On
Nice place
Bathroom toilet flushing needed some attention. Handle had to be held down to flush. The main shower nozzle was pretty bad with a very straight flow that made it hard to rinse off.
The staff here was nice. The area was not so nice. Kind of seedy with lots of people that would make you feel uncomfortable if you went out at night after dark. The hotel is convenient if you’re going to Boston Medical- otherwise I would not stay there again.
The hotel was nice, location was terrible. Many homeless people, no restaurants/bars close.
It was good inside the hotel but the surrounding area not so much.
Staff was very helpful
Staff was great, place was clean, centrally located and the parking fee was far more reasonable than its competitors.
Stay was good
