Hotel was fine. Staff were generally good apart from useless receptionist
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Coffee was good. Porridge was available. Staff promptly cleaned off used dishes off tables. Scrambled egg were just ok. Pool was fine but it's not very big. Family room was a good size. Food at the bar was fine. Bar staff were good.

Cons:

Arrived at the hotel on a Friday evening and outside car park was full so parked in underground. Door with a big Guest Entrance sign from under ground to hotel was locked so we could not bring our bags through. Phoned reception and they said they'd send someone down to open door but no one arrived. Walked around outside and in main entrance and asked reception where the entrance to underground was. Lady was most unhelpful saying the underground was only for staff, even though there were signs for customer parking. She could not direct me to where entrance was. All the while my wife and kids waited with the bags in the underground. She created a very poor first impression of the hotel. The security guard overheard our conversation and said he would bring me down, no problem and showed me the entrance. He was very helpful.
The room was good, however there was a crushed croissant under the bed.
In the bar, the staff member asked us to order food on an app on our phones. The app was missing many of the food choices. The waitress was very helpful, however and gave us a menu card and took our order.

Great location, comfy beds and a good night’s sleep
Pros:

The location is fantastic, just a 2 minute walk from the centre with lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants to choose from. Checkin was very efficient. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was huge with a large bed and a separate bunk beds. Room was perfectly clean with plenty of complimentary water bottles.

Cons:

Only minor thing was that a twin room was not available at check-in despite request on Booking.com - no problem as we had been upgraded. Just suggest if you need separate beds to contact the hotel directly in advance.

Don’t stay here, the worst Radisson hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s filthy.

Where do I start? This is a Radisson in name only. I have never stayed in a Radisson as dirty, old and with such poor food and mediocre service. Check-in was slow and they made a mistake on my registration. Minor but the start. When they handed me my room keycard I was shocked to see the filth of it. My room was old and needs a refit with carpet stain and a desk drawer which was broken. The TV was tiny and an old model. Only a couple of channels were available as the others just would not work. The bathroom was a disgrace, it was filthy and very old. When I went for dinner I was instructed to order from a QR code at my table. It felt like a fast food restaurant. The food was only ok. The next morning the breakfast was terrible. There was only one coffee machine working. It looked as if there was not enough staff to clean and refill stations. No staff even engaged with me during the whole breakfast to see if I wanted anything. Basic service over my staff was very poor. I do not know how this is a Radisson. It’s a disgrace.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

The hotel itself is lovely, our room was very comfortable with an amazing view of the river . The location was very central and the bed was the most comfortable i've slept in

Cons:

Only thing that I can complain about and it is not a huge deal, is that we decided to stay on an extra night but the complicated procedure to extend the stay almost made us not bother. I had to go online and book the night from the site and then get new key cards because they cancelled ours at noon .

Good value for money. The hotel has a large parking area and the room was spacious and amazing river view.

The cleanliness could be improved. The floor felt sticky and the towels had an unpleasant smell.
