A lovely, welcoming hotel. Very spacious, clean and cosy room; a good breakfast; very friendly staff.
Unfortunately, I was given a room with windows overlooking the air-conditioning units, which hummed all night. I couldn’t get to sleep, even with the window closed.

Check in experience was very good, the hostess was really nice and helpful, and even upgraded us to a junior suite with river view! The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel location was great for us, close to restaurants, grocery stores, and running paths.

Staff were amazing , very very good at upselling which is great , food brilliant and drinks , lovely location, room poor enough , no phone I wanted a late check out , no phone , not sure about food at night but night porter told me no , other than that hotel is lovely bar the room

There is very limited parking at this hotel. We had to leave the car across in the town centre, which took us a half hour between finding the town centre, getting a space and because the shopping centre was closed we had to walk back the long way. While we appreciate that management dealt with this complaint swiftly amd agreeing to reimburse us for the costs, it was the inconvenience of it that was more frustrating than the cost. They were hosting an event and seem to prioritise that over the guests who are actually staying at the hotel.
Dinner is advertised on the website as being served until 9:30pm. When we arrived at 8:45pm we were completely rushed and barely given an opportunity to look at the menu as we were told the kitchen was closing.
At 11pm the bar staff told us they were no longer making cocktails, which was extremely disappointing. The bar was fairly empty but plenty of staff.
Apart from the staff at the breakfast, overall our experience was disappointing at this hotel and we found the service to be very poor.
There is also no working air con in the room which made it very stuffy.
