Pros:

Es war richtig toll, der Pool war schön, zum Strand war es nicht weit und uns wurde bei jeder Frage geholfen, auch wenn viele des Personals kein Englisch sprechen.

Cons:

Lediglich dass man im Strand nicht baden soll ist schade, man kann aber surfen und mit den Füßen rein ist auch kein Problem.

Everyone at the hotel — from reception to the waiters, cleaners, and gardeners — was not only welcoming but also very helpful, which made us feel right at home. The restaurant food was great; a little on the pricier side, but definitely worth it for the quality. The location is fantastic, practically right next to the trees. During our stay we even spotted a toucan, a parrot, a squirrel, and other rare birds in the early morning.

Tolle Lage und sehr leckeres Essen.

Cons:

Fünf kolumbianische Touristen hörten den ganzen Tag ihre eigen mitgebrachte Musik.
Das ganze Hotelpersonal ist abends ab 9 pm weg und die Kolumbianer festeten weiter. In einem solchen Hotel erwarte ich abends eine Mindestbesatzung ( eine Person)

Disappointing
Pros:

The pool and surroundings are amazing. It's a little green paradise close to Tayrona Park. The river sunsets (Caimans included) are spectacular! The food is good; a la carte breakfast and a surprisingly diverse dinner menu with vegetarian options as well. It's really impressive what they are able to do in this small kitchen! I appreciated that they did not play music in the pool area, allowing you to listen to the birds chirping or your own music/podcasts. The atmosphere is very laid back.

Cons:

For the price (100€/night for one person), I expected a higher standard or at least more transparency upfront. Examples:
- There are no real windows, just shutters with huge gaps between their frame and the walls. As the hotel staff leaves the premises after 8pm (when the restaurant closes), I felt pretty unsafe as it would have been incredibly easy to enter the room with little force.
- When I informed the hotel that the hot water in my room wasn't working, I was told that the hotel didn't have warm water (contrary to some reviews on here).
- When I arrived, I was informed that the internet wouldn't work in my room that day. It didn't work the entire week I was there. (It did work in the pool/restaurant area.)
Pictures fell out of their frames, lights came out the (stained) ceiling - small details but at this price point worth mentioning.
The staff is friendly but very inattentive and mostly has their backs turned towards guests. Expect to have to walk up to someone to order a drink by the pool, get a menu or more pool towels.
