We stayed here on 2 occasions this year for slightly over a week each, and the decision to go back to Malta had much to do with the hotel. It is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and that includes some of the Leading hotels. The rooms are spotless (thanks to the cheerful Arjun and the rest of the housekeeping team), the pool is fabulous and the breakfast truly opulent. The staff is universally friendly, cheerful, helpful and patient, from the cleaners to the breakfast staff, reception and concierge. They more than anything made the whole thing feel like a true 5 star experience. The bathrooms are a little dated and could do with an overhaul (and doors that don't let through light) but they are meticulously clean. The rest of the room has a nice contemporary design, with thought put into what would be useful for the guests, and AFAIK all the rooms have a balcony. The fridge is big for a hotel fridge, and blessedly lacks a minibar. Large quantities of complimentary bottles of water are placed in the rooms on a daily basis, we never had to buy bottled water throughout our stay. In terms of location, it's on a vibrant street on the bay packed with restaurants, with a sea-side promenade across the road. It's well-insulated as we never heard outside sounds. There's a gorgeous outside seating area snaking along the side of the hotel by the lobby overlooking the sea. The car park is free and has plenty of spaces.
Great hotel, good location, clean with pleasant staff. Rooms are large and beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast was ok, maybe not as good as most other Marriots I have stayed in. There are a few pools including a magnificent roof top one but as it was December too cold for me to use
We went over the period between Christmas and New Year's, and it was honestly the best stay we've ever had. The staff were brilliant and made our stay so memorable, making sure that they made our kids feel special on their birthday too (we didn't ask for anything, they just surprised us!). Special thanks to Zahra, Sanju and Fana who went out of their way to help us celebrate

The Staff could not do enough for us, all so polite and helpful and made it a very nice and relaxing evening. Thankyou for doing such a great job 👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Christmas stay 22/27 dec two rooms two people no Christmas Eve meal nor Christmas Day?other than that it was good shame about the mix up

Stayed here recently what can I say the staff where excellent they couldn't do enough they all went above and beyond. Talk about going the Extra mile they truly all showed excellent hospitality. Big shout out these member of staff missed a few names chef Reno on the omelette station hope you get to see Mrs brown some day soon, Sanju and bimlima giving me and mum a warm welcome every morning at breakfast to also making sure we where topped up on our fresh orange juice made the morning easier, and to eliana who looked after us from the first day to last day in restaurant. A special thank you to ruwan on the bar this guy made us feel at home the most knew exactly what we wanted. To all the staff including housekeeping also to the spa staff I highly enjoyed my hot stone massage shall need to return again, thank you for a memorable stay I hope to visit again in the near future.

Me and my colleagues had a wonderful lunch buffet experience. The food was superb and the dessert are all indulging. Special thanks to Chef David's Pastry team and also to Sanju and Bilama for their excellent service. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.- mervz
We love the decor and location of this hotel. We managed to visit the other Marriott and we loved and preferred this lovation for all the amenities, quality service, morning breakfast, the fantastic staff and most of all the quiet laid back hospitality. I would highly recommend visiting here
From the moment you walk into the reception to check in, you are instantly made to feel welcome and this feeling never left during our stay.
The hotel itself is large but yet never felt it, there is a beautiful spa, a rooftop pool and lovely outdoor terraces.
All of the above is aesthetically lovely, but the warmth, politeness and respect shown by the staff is so special.
Every member of staff and I mean every ! are a credit to the hotel.
I would like to say all the staff in the M lounge were great and sorry cannot remember all of their names, but Ranjan made great cocktails.
The Marketplece is where we had breakfast, and daily met with a beautiful smile and greeted by Bimala, we were also lucky to have had Eliana serve us. But a huge shout out for Sanju, every hotel should have a Sanju! She was absolutely delightful.

Stayed here for 10 days with my wife. All the staff from the managers, waiting staff in the restaurants to the cleaners are great. Its a very well run, clean properly managed hotel. I've stayed in a few Marriotts but this has been the best, and I think partly because of the way the guests are treated. They staff go out of their way to assist and make you feel welcome. The hotel itself is really nice and big. Spa area very relaxing. A well equpt proper sauna and steam room. Good gym. Really relaxing part of the hotel. Went to the sap every day on my stay. Lobby area big, wecoming and relaxing. Plenty of nooks where you can hide away and work on your laptop of just relax.and enjoy the view of the bay. Restaurants Good. Rooms a good size and comfortable. You can login to your own Netflix or YouTube if you wish. Good size TV. Our room was a standard room but had a bath and separate shower. Water left in room every day, and chocolates. Hotel location couldn't be better. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Relaxing area not to crazy and noisy, but things going on. Not as packed as Valletta. If you want to go further afield for a day recommend downloading the Bolt app. You get a cab in a couple of minutes and Good value. I hope to be back in the future. Would highly recommend

Marta Kozak is an absolute angel who always replied speedily to my many emails, always friendly and kind and did everything she could to make our stay perfect.
Zahra Cockin spoiled my wife on her birthday with a lovely card, gifts and amenities in our room, a lovely surprise from a lovely lady.
As always Sanju and the team at breakfast always look after us so well . Its lovely to see and chat to Sanju and the other lovely ladies and gentlemen at breakfast who always do everything they can to look after you. Too many names to remember, so sorry if I haven't mentioned you all personally.
Always plenty to eat,so no one will ever leave hungry.
Buffet Dinner on Saturday night was good, as im sure Sunday lunch would be .
Rooms are always spotlessly clean, anything needed is always just a message away on the Marriott app or a call to reception.
Marvic Veljovic and her team are exceptional at keeping guest rooms tip top, nothing is ever too much trouble for them, such hard workers who dont get the credit they deserve.
Our week flew by, we didnt get the chance yo use pools or health club, but will return again in the near future to visit all our friends at the Malta Marriott.
Alex Incorvaja ,GM of the hotel leads from the top with a great attitude, very customer focused and this shows through the whole team.

We had an amazing experience celebrating our occasion at the Marketplace Sunday buffet. Food was delicious, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the service was excellent from start to finish.
Everything was perfectly organised, and the team made sure we had everything we needed. Our whole family had a wonderful time, we couldn’t have asked for better!
Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.
Hotel is very clean and all staff are amazing, so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Stayed in a M room but couldn’t get WiFi without it asking for an extra charge. Outside pools are not heated so can’t enjoy a swim as too cold. Bar in resection closed at 11:30pm on a Friday night, never had that before in a 5 star hotel normally 24 hours or at least until it’s empty. Very disappointing
We had a wonderful five-night stay at the Marriott Spa. The hotel is immaculately clean in all areas and feels brand new. Our suite was large and impressive – although a little more storage would have been useful. Housekeeping kept it spotless and tidy throughout our stay, and we really appreciated the evening turndown service.
Breakfast was excellent — busy but run very efficiently, with staff regularly checking that everything was satisfactory. My only minor quibbles were the lack of avocado and teapots (definitely first-world problems!). The breakfast team even remembered our preferred seating area and room number, which made such a thoughtful difference.
We dined one evening in the Atrio restaurant, and the food was superb — it really deserves more promotion to guests. We also enjoyed the M Club, which offered very flexible opening hours and those wonderful almond cookies!
All the staff were professional, helpful, and genuinely friendly — from housekeeping to the management team. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and there is a clear “can-do” attitude throughout the hotel. The management presence is visible and very much appreciated — as guests, we truly felt valued.
It’s easy to see why so many guests return, and we certainly intend to be among them. Please keep doing what you’re doing!
On balance a 14 night stay was too long as it gave time to see where things could be better.
The absolute number one asset of this hotel is the staff who are all great. Sanju in the Marketplace is delightful as is the egg maestro who takes and cooks 4 orders at once thus reducing wait time to minimum, sadly he doesn't work everyday and his replacements are less adept so wait can be long. The eggs are the only really hot food on offer at breakfast as the other stuff is lukewarm at best. The selection of dishes and pastries is good.
The Atrio restaurant is good with generous opening times.
Our room was a junior suite and for our stay of 14 nights lacking in wardrobe space and other storage, there was a cabinet on one side of the bed only and that had the only drawer. There was very little horizontal space to keep things.
The separate wc and bathroom is a strange arrangement. The bathroom had a large tub which we didn't use and a reasonable shower cubicle, however the water temperature was not constant and at times went to scalding hot.
The room was clean but the supply of facecloths and body lotion was hit and miss. The turndown service actually didn't really turndown the bed. We only had 1 wineglas.
There are plenty of sunbeds both around the pools and in other areas. As an older couple we didn't find any of the indoor seating very comfortable.
We had access to the M club and the included drinks and snacks were a big plus.
Both Alex the manager and his assistant are very attentive though their words were rarely followed by action.
During our stay there was a problem with water due to an unavoidable incident. There is a message system on the room tv but we went a whole day without hot water without any information being provided as to the likely duration.
All in all this is a decent hotel but we were expecting a bit more.
This is not the first visit to this hotel. It's always a pleasure to return. Hotel is on the coast road of the elegant seaside town of Sliema/St.Julians. Hotel has fantastic amenities . These include a spa, with indoor pool, and jacuzzi. A breakfast restaurant, and an a la carte restaurant with outdoor seating looking onto the bay. Breakfast is varied, and includes some local favourites that cannot be missed. Staff is friendly, and accommodating . The hotel has two outdoor pools, and an executive lounge on the 13th floor that captures a fantastic view of the surroundings. Hotel is ideal for both leisure and business.
We've just returned after a week staying in a Pool View room at the Marriott and what a fantastic hotel this is! Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need. All the staff in the breakfast room were brilliant - we were greeted and shown to our table with a smile and the waiters/waitresses were very friendly. The choice of fresh breakfast items is too long to list (even a glass of fizz if you fancied it!). I mentioned to the Breakfast Restaurant Manager on our last morning (sorry I didn't get your name, but I think it was Sushan) that we were leaving very early and she immediately picked up that we wouldn't be able to get breakfast, so kindly arranged for a breakfast box to be collected on our departure the next morning! We used the Pool Terrace on the top floor which was very relaxing. We visited Malta last year (staying in another 4* hotel), so knew our way around the Island a little and Bolt taxis are definitely the way to go (download the app). Thank you to everyone at the Marriott for a first class stay and we will definitely be returning as soon as we can!
