The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The continental breakfast with pastries, yogurt, fruit, and coffee met our needs. The staff was friendly, courteous and responded to requests immediately. We had Christmas Eve dinner in the dining room and our meals were delicious. Also, the location of the hotel is perfect.
The room was extremely small. Also, the bathroom sink was so small, it was difficult to wash your face. There was more counter space than bowl, so a larger sink is possible.
Das Frühstück war kümmerlich.
Es gibt keine richtige Lobby, nur den Bar-Bereich. Es gibt keinen Aufenthaltsraum, abgesehen vom Restaurant. Es gibt kein Fitnessstudio.
Disappointing Stay. Needs Major Improvement!
The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful; no one appeared to know what was going on. The rooms urgently need proper sound insulation. Every morning around 6 a.m., we were woken by a loud machine noise coming from the cleaning closet. Even the quiet conversations of the cleaning staff were clearly audible due to the lack of soundproofing.
While the towels were new, they had clearly never been washed after being removed from their packaging. The breakfast was minimal and well below standard. Overall, the management needs significant improvement to bring the hotel to an acceptable level.
We paid around USD 500 per night (including taxes), but in my opinion, the stay was worth no more than USD 175 per night for the level of service and quality provided. We ultimately decided to cut our stay short (after much disagreement with the hotel staff regarding a refund) and transferred to another hotel.
Only issue was the elevator kept breaking
Adorable. Loved the convenient location to Freedom Trail, shopping, restaurants, grocery. Loved the rooftop terrace.
Was quite noisy with traffic.
The staff especially the new
Wonderful hotel in a great part of Boston. Walking distance or easy transportation to just about anyplace a visitor would want to see. Room was a bit small, but not a problem considering we only slept in the room. We will be back!!
Location
The rooftop bar and staff serving up there were amazing.
Some staff were a little aloof. Would have been nice to have access to coffee or tea making facilities. Apart from that, all good.
Loved the location loved the lovby nar and Breakfast was a treat. OX
Overall, I enjoyed our stay at this spot. The location can’t be beat. It’s right by Boston Common (for parking) and nestled on Charles Street, close to attractions but far enough away that you can escape the hustle and bustle at night. The staff were friendlyish but often unavailable (another guest said her power went out and no one was around to help). Room could have been cleaner. There were stains on the sheet and areas in the room that looked like they hadn’t been touched in awhile. The elevator broke down while we were there, which wasn’t the end of the world, but wouldn’t have been pleasant if we had to schlep all our luggage up the stairs. We were near the upstairs terrace and it got really noisy at night. We ended up using a sound machine to drown out the noise. It’d be nice to offer small amenities, as well - my friend forgot a toothbrush and they didn’t have any on hand. It’s a cute space but shows wear - hoping they keep up maintenance bc it has the potential to be great.
Lovely boutique hotel, walking distance to many points of interest. Charming neighborhood, felt very safe, comfortable beds, can’t really say enough about how pleasant our week was there!!!

I like the location the most! It’s close enough to the parks and Newbury street.
The staff didn’t clean the room on Saturday. I was very disappointed to see the messy room when I came back.
Cosy but in all details excellent
