West is best.
Pros:

Great staff who were always cheerful and willing to go the extra mile when asked.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable and being able to open the windows a little was great. Breakfast was really great value too.

Cons:

The night there was a problem with the kitchen and my meal was cancelled. Also it was unfortunately a little further from Amsterdam Central than I would have liked but I didn't know enough about location when I booked but the bed and the staff made up for that.

Pros:

Excellent location — there is a bus stop right in front with a line to the city center, and the center can also be reached quickly on foot. The rooms were cleaned every day, so we always returned to a tidy room. Very kind and helpful staff who helped us get to the airport on time.

The staff were really nice & friendly. Place was clean. Food was good! Dont know why people have complained about the breakfasts - they are spot on & tasty. The gym was good & spacious. Loved the board games available

Cons:

Quite a long walk into the town but there is a bus outside which you can catch for cheap.

A bit far from the main city attractions
Pros:

The hotel was quiet. Beds were confortable. There is a bus stop (line 22), 2 min walking from the hotel to go the center.

Cons:

Take into account that the hotel is a bit far from the main attractions : around 45 min walking to reach the center (around 15 min if you go by bus). There is are restaurant or bar nearer the hotel, it's offset. The first supermarket is 15 min walking from the hotel. If you plan to go out, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Also, I think that for the price we payed, I think you can find an hotel with the same quality closest to the main attractions in order to avoid taking the bus each time.

It was nice, clean and comfortable

Cons:

Breakfast it was, cheap quality it was very hard to find something to eat. If you want coffee you need to pay extra ( you not see something like this anywhere.
