Motel 6-Carlsbad, CA - East Near LEGOLAND

I booked a room on the seventh through the eighth with another third-party and because they told me that they were gonna fix the heat. I had decided to book 3 more nights from the eighth through the 10th.. however the next day when I inquired about the heat that still needed to be fixed, the owner decided to cancel my reservation from the eighth through the 10th falsely claiming that I made a false report when he knew, and the maze servant confirmed that the heat was not working.

I understood that I could pay WHEN I FOT THERE, but the money WAS TAKEN immediately- that was a lie.

A lot of noise , I am not sure if it was a washroom near but it was a noise .

I accepted your standard Motel 6 accommodation. But it was overpriced. I asked for a bottom floor. Didn’t get it. I am handicapped, prosthetic on right leg. Stairs are difficult. I asked for next to pool, I get next to freeway. Way noisy for the price I paid.

I had my reservation, but they sold it. When I arrived at the motel, they told me I didn't have a reservation. This was bad news for me and my family. I'm still waiting for the money I paid to be returned.

I had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience with the owner/manager of this location (the one appearing to be of Middle Eastern/Indian ethnicity).

They tried to give me a room that hadn't been cleaned yet, so I very patiently and politely asked the owner/manager if he could switch me to one that had already been cleaned/serviced, to which he apologized and agreed. The new room he moved me to, however, had a HORRIBLE odor. So, I again very patiently and politely returned to the front desk and asked him if it would be possible to be moved to another room. This time, however, he became short-tempered and rude, telling me that all the rooms are usually full and that, if I wasn't happy, he would just give me a refund. Before I could even answer the question, though, he was already eagerly in the process of issuing me a refund. (I had just stayed in this Motel 6 for three nights a few days prior, and I had absolutely no problems with the smell or condition of the room.)

Another night a few days later, I rebooked with this Motel 6 because I saw that they had availability in one of the first-floor rooms I had stayed in prior. When I arrived at the motel, however, the owner/manager very angrily said he would not allow me to stay there because, "Last time you switch[ed] the room THREE times." When I attempted to explain to him that I only wanted to switch rooms ONCE (since the first time, the room wasn't ready; there were no sheets or blankets on the bed even), he loudly spoke over me, continually interrupting me, until I just told him, "If you're not going to give me a cash refund, then I'm calling the police." Even still, he refused, so I had to call the police to get them to sort out the issue and ensure that my Booking reservation was properly cancelled.

I believe the real issue here is that THERE IS SEX-TRAFFICKING GOING ON AT THIS LOCATION, AND HE DID NOT WANT TO RENT TO SOMEONE HE COULDN'T EXPLOIT.
