Samba Vallarta All Inclusive

We had a pretty good time this visit. The rooms were always cleaned in a timely manner. The best part was having Jesus serve us around the pool. He was friendly, got to know us by names, and he made us feel very welcome. Jesus, we looked forward to seeing you everyday. Hopefully we will be back some day.

I would like to say something about the service people. All are so friendly and willing to help. Emme the lady who made up our room daily was wonderful. Anything I need extra of age was willing to get for me. Have your google translate with you if you don’t speak Spanish.
Guenero, Salvador, and all the kitchen/seever staff are so great. Always smiling and willing to foresee what you need. 2 days in a row they brought me guacamole with out me even asking. They saw me loving the pica de gallo and just assumed I’d want quacamole with it. They were right.
It really doesn’t matter wher you stay, if the staff isn’t great your trip isn’t great.

I had a very nicely new experience. My wife and I were nervous 'cause this was our first trip, but this was the best choice we ever could made. Our children were so happy too, essentially with that girl Michelle from the kids club, she's so kind and lovely. We absolutly will return.

We stayed at SV March 6-13, 2026. We enjoyed our stay, it is a small resort, rooms are dated but kept very clean. Staff is very friendly. Food at buffet is repetitive as any resort. Mexican Resto was good (we had tacos and beef tenderloin). Italian Resto was ok (fetucinni, penny bolognese), drinks are too sweet for me but that is my taste. Beach was great, if you look long enough, you will see whales jumping! Beach chairs available no problem. Now for the constructive comments... hope management reads this comment... we were return guests and why we return is because they have bicycle for rent, but they only have 6 working bicycles, they could fix them, as if you were too late to rent ...none were available. That is why I gave Samba a 4*, for us it is very important to have bicycles and wander off... it is such a great place to ride on the bicycle path.

Our 4th year here. Always enjoy coming to Samba. The hotel is good, the people are wonderful. Especially Salvador. He makes everyone feel very at home and brings laughter wherever he is.

I was a little hesitant to go after I booked and started to read the negative reviews. I'm so glad I didn't listen to them. The staff at the resort was great from the moment we arrived. We had a delay with our flight by a day and when I phoned the resort they were very understanding. The rooms are not a 5 star room but they were very clean and had everything we needed. Room service was also great with providing clean towels and sheets. We had an issue with our toilet and when we called they were very quick to fix it. Our kids always had something to do at the resort and the water was not too deep for my little one and they loved the ship. They also had pool and foosball tables to play at night if you didn't want to check out the shows. We were only able to check out the magic night and we all thought it was great. We had a room facing the pool and we never thought the noise was to loud for us or the music. I had read in some reviews people thought they catered more to the locals which couldn't be further from the truth. All the staff went beyond for all the guests. The food had a good variety and was always good. The El Mexicano restaurant was by far our favorite. We went 3 times. We never had an issue getting into the restaurants we wanted. They do have a rule of no saving beach chairs but that was never an issue with us as there is plenty of chairs, You could always find a beach lounger by the pool or on the beach. Overall we would definitely book Samba again.

We just returned from our 3rd visit to this awesome resort. This time, we brought three of our friends. It was unfortunate that we were there when unrest occurred within the Puerto Vallarta area. Having said that, we were most impressed with how this resort and staff supported each other throughout and most of all, how they supported their guests.

We felt safe and taken care of, to the point where our days were spent comfortably until things settled down.

Two of our friends were stranded for four days due to disruptions in flights leaving PV. This resort went above and beyond to accommodate their situation. In particular, a few staff were especially great, Betem, Salvador, Amparo, Juan, Genaro, Jasmin, Isael, Luis. Last but not least, is Alma, the friendly woman who cleaned our room (122, Feb 14-28).

Our only complaint would be the lack of hot showers. The beds are always comfortable and we had no problem getting a spot around the pools. The food was good, with plenty of variety and drinks were available at multiple locations around the resort.

Thank you Samba for another great vacation, even if there were issues in the surrounding areas.

This is my second time here, my husband’s third. Each trip gets better and better. It always feels like coming back to see family. This trip occurred during the unrest in the region, but staff made sure everything was seamless for us. We felt extremely safe during the whole time and secure. Each day it was so nice seeing Genaro, Salvador, Victor, and Jacque in the buffet. They are so incredibly kind and helpful and really do feel like family. They are always the highlight of the trip. I cannot wait to come back again next year! The food is the best I’ve ever had at a resort. I love that it is small resort that is easy to get around and it’s very comfortable. Thank you so much to all the staff for taking such good care of us again this year! See you next year, my friends!

Have reviewed this resort before and it still does not disappoint! The high point as always is the staff. In the buffet Genaro, Salvador, Victor, Arturo the omelette man. Jacque the hostess, Luis in the bar were standouts as usual. But all staff was engaging and friendly! Food was great and throughout the unrest here we always felt reassured! We will be back next year!

From the moment we walked in Laura at the front desk was so nice and welcoming! The staff here is wonderful and always willing to help. It wasn’t over crowded like other resorts. I highly recommend the Samba!

The resort was great. Kids loved the pool and water slides, the beach was beautiful. They have activities every night. The service was amazing, the staff is great, Salvador, Luis and Jasmine stood out. Highly recommend.

Michell from the kids' club is very kind and attentive, she always looked out for our comfort and my children loved her, we'll be back for her service! ❤️

Other than the rooms needing updating, everything was super clean and very comfortable. Beds & pillows comfortable. The staff were awesome. Food and drinks were lovely. Daily mini-bar refreshments. Our cleaning lady Alma was a lovely person.

The rooms are basic but sufficient. Unfortunately there is little to no sound barrier, and you can hear everything from everywhere in your room. We had some very loud talkers in the room next to us, so it was a little annoying.
The resort itself is small compared to a lot of the others but that is what we wanted, and it was perfect, if a bit dated. They are on top of keeping it clean and inviting. Not much hot water for showers, in fact it was luke warm pretty much the whole week.
The food was just ok. We didn't really care for either a la carte. The selection at the buffet usually had something for everyone, although when they advertise "seafood night" or "Italian night" we didn't really see that reflected in the dishes served.
The beach is nice. Soft sand, warm water. Always a few open chairs even if you weren't down super early.
The nightly shows were entertaining, if a bit amateur. To be expected at a small resort.
The staff really make this place. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly.

I left Samba Vallarta two days ago and already want to return. The beach was gorgeous, rhe scenery was incredible, the food was tasty, the drinks were divine, the environment was safe, the pool was awesome, the room was relaxing,and the staff were friendly and attentive.

I want to give a special thanks to the staff member named Africa who ran the Kids Club and did an excellent job at leading my daughters in recreational activities.
