Unbeatable value
Pros:

My 6th time to hawaii from Australia and I dont think there is a hotel in waikiki that you could get that was this clean, comfortable, at still a central location. We went on a budget trip so this price was unbeatable especially for such great beds, staff and facilities. Nice to see locals working there too. Travelled with a 1 and 3 year old and they were happy to walk 9 minutes to get to centre of waikiki.

Cons:

The pool did not have much of a shallow end and dropped off quickly.

Location was great, and the rooms were large.

Cons:

Because of the age of the building, the rooms don't have central air. It does have a package type unit, but the unit was so noisy, we found it difficult to sleep.
