Pros:

I loved everything about the property, especially the staff but I just wish it was in a better location and the amenities were open on the weekend.

Awesome views and incredible location!
Pros:

The view is incredible. The location is outstanding with less than a minute walk to both underground and elevated trains. The building is secure with friendly greeters and a 5 minute walk to restaurants and convenience stores open late. The room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, and clean with a large private bathroom. Did we mention the absolutely stunning views to watch sunrise, sunset, trains and air traffic, all in a standard rate room!

Cons:

Fall of 2026 there is street construction at the ground level near the back entrance, but this was not an inconvenience or noisy for us.

Not worth half of what we paid for.
Pros:

Location and cleanliness of the room. We were allowed to deposit our luggage after checkout as we had a late evening flight. Much appreciated!
Splendid views! Close to public transport.

Cons:

Outdated and in overall needs a refresher. Breakfast is beyond despair as there is no proper coffee and bagels served were old.
One member of the staff didn’t speak English well enough to help us.

Our first stay and now our new number one hotel choice in Chicago.
Pros:

Great view from the 40th floor!
The breakfast room is very pleasant and the selections are good with enough variety for our seven day stay. It's nice that that room is always open.
Bathroom is excellent with commode in its own room.
Access to the hotel is easy and the building staff were helpful.

Cons:

I would have liked a safety bar to hold while getting in and out of the tub. It's a bit of a long step over the edge of the tub.
The price was good but the resort fee could be optional. We never used the health club facilities.

40th floor hotel, not bad, but not good either
Pros:

Vibe, free breakfast, location

Cons:

We had to wait 40 minutes as our room wasn't ready.
I paid for a room with a landmark view, we got the worst possible view from the hotel rooms, and it wasn't even Wiilis Tower, just a few skyscrapers in another direction. And a train station.
The AC was loud, and we had to use it all the time because it was getting cold very soon.
The ventilation in the bathroom was going on all the time, couldn't switch off, and it was very loud too.

Despite issues, good place to stay. Pricey for what you get, but great location.
Pros:

View was fantastic. The staff was helpful and kind.

Cons:

wifi and TV were horrible. Really bad coffee. Recommend throwing out items put out at breakfast after service rather than reusing-bread/bagels (got stale). Very difficult to find-provide better instructions-floor 40, above the 39 floors of offices.

Great stay in the Loop
Pros:

My friend and I had a double queen room. It was very spacious with a good-sized bathroom and two food/drink alcoves. Plus, the city view was lovely. Breakfast was available every morning in the Guest Lounge but we never took advantage of it. We did, however, fill up our water bottles there during the day and grab some tea.

Cons:

We had a hard time finding the hotel. There isn't any large signage around the building which otherwise looks like (and is) 40 floors of offices.

Wonderful Views and Awesome Staff!
Pros:

This hotel felt like a hidden gem! It had a great view and could see Lake Michigan from our room! The hotel staff was amazing and very nice, but some of the security staff in the main lobby weren't as friendly! The beds and pillows were super comfy!

Cons:

The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The shower/bathtub was a little hard to get in and out of. Water pressure in the shower wasn't the best, but decent considering it's the 40th floor of the building. Plenty of towels were provided, but a couple more washcloths would have been nice. But overall, I would stay here again!

Expensive but excellent
Pros:

Very safe in the Chicago stock exchange. Clean, comfy and amazing views.

Cons:

It’s expensive. Was also confusing on how to get to the hotel when first checking in. You have to ask security to let you through the elevators and take 2 up to the floor. Once you know it’s fine but the first time is super confusing

Confusing place to find after a long day of travel
Pros:

The views were nice

Cons:

The rooms themselves need upgraded. We ordered food using one of the options listed in the room but the food could not be brought up to us per security so we had to go down and get it which was a hassle. I understand safety but i felt like i went through a literal maze to get to the place. The signage could be way better. My friend and I were shocked at how we had to get to the lobby of the hotel. It was a fine hotel to stay for a night but we won’t be back.

Pros:

1. The room was spacious and the view made this trip exceptionally memorable. It was also very quiet and the staff was efficient, helpful and respectful. I found the location convenient for our weekend plans. As advertised, the parking was easy to find and it felt very safe. Great water pressure. And only 21 rooms, perfect!

Cons:

I wish that the hotel would upgrade the sheets to 100% cotton. These were a bit scratchy. Coffee machine didn't work well and the coffee never got hot. The facilities themselves are needing an upgrade, paint/ chipped wood, etc. Continental breakfast is included, but it was all highly processed/heavy carb food except for a few pieces of sad looking fruit. Also, the facilities fee should be waived for the weekend because of no access to a gym.
