Nice stay in Kaohsiung
Pros:

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is very close by 2 night markets, shopping district, and supermarkets.

Cons:

The breakfast buffet has very limited western options. Also, the food labels don't exactly say the ingredients of the food, which can be frustrating (esp if you have special preferences or allergies).

I do not recommend the hotel

Cons:

The hotel disappointed me a lot. The cleanliness was not sufficient, the breakfast was poor, the room was cold without the possibility of switching the air conditioning to heating, the parking lot is about 500-1000 m from the hotel, the services at the reception - either they did not know English and when the lady at the reception knew English, she always explained to us, when we asked nicely, how to do something. Not how to do it, no proactivity or friendliness to the customer. I would definitely not return to this hotel. Here too it was confirmed that one unwilling employee at the reception is enough and you have no desire to deal with the hotel anymore
