It has potential to be really nice, especially with the surrounding vineyards. Great breakfast.
Staff was extremely unfriendly and rude. They gave us the wrong room with many problems (mosquito infestation, broken toilet, wrong number of beds etc) and only moved us to the right room after we complained to booking.com. Also for the 5 star price, the facilities are minimal, with just a pool. I was shocked at the way we were treated when we had really reasonable requests. Would absolutely not recommend.

Schiamazzi di un gruppo di americani arrivati nell’ultimo giorno e non ripresi dal personale della struttura . Hanno reso l’ultimo giorno per nulla piacevole. Ripeto in una location del genere non è concepibile e il personale di struttura dovrebbe essere più incisivo nel far rispettare la quiete degli altri ospiti , se c’è qualche gruppo maleducato come in questo caso.
Acqua servita in piscina in bottiglie in plastica , in una location del genere non è bello da vedersi . Andrebbe anche servita con un secchiello con ghiaccio.

Excellent housekeeping.
As many people have said the staff are very good. Especially Martina and the team at breakfast also Christian at the outdoor bar and Alexandro at the pool was very helpful. The wine tour was fun.

The not so good was, as mentioned in other reviews - the food!
Other than breakfast it was very disappointing. We struggled to find any food we liked. Mostly fish, probably containing microplastic! (more on that below). The room service menu was so limited and amateur! There was no menu in the room. The hotel chef needs to realise that if food is coming back still on plates uneaten they need to change something! It took us three days before we found the bar menu and realised we could order from that! We ordered pizza and it was woeful! Thick crust, burnt, soggy middle, quite embarrassing!!
The area round the hotel is also very disappointing, lots of litter and fly tipping! What are the authorities doing?!!!!! Does anyone care that the litter and microplastic goes in the sea which the fish digest and then gets eaten by humans? We saw lots of this in the area, very sad!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful and relaxing setting. The service was excellent throughout — attentive, professional and genuinely welcoming. We especially enjoyed the heated pool and the stunning sunset views over the sea and vineyards. A perfect place to unwind in western Sicily.
