Lovely little spot
Pros:

Staff were all so lovely and accommodating. Edel at check in is a sweetheart. Loved the residents bar downstairs and barmen were great. Raspberry Bramble Cocktail was too nice!! Dinner was tasty, breakfast was super everything was so freshly cooked and they dont scrimp on anything. Would absolutely return. Thanks to all at Belmont for an enjoyable stay .

Cons:

Rooms were spotless and so comfortable only thing that would have been nice would be a small fridge but that's only looking for a negative.

Wouldn’t stay again, despite the friendly staff
Pros:

The bed was comfortable, the staff were very friendly and pleasant and the hotel was nicely decorated for the festive season. Good location to visit the Game of Thrones Tour or the Outlet

Cons:

The property has unfortunately not been well maintained and doesn’t live up to the photos online, the interior shows a lot of wear and tear and has seen better days. Shelf in the bathroom not properly secured to the wall, fully yellowed toilet seat and terrible shower pressure, water came out like a dribble. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely cold despite the heating being on, windows very drafty. The breakfast was ok but the dinner was very poor. The prices are much too high for the quality of food offered.

The Belmont House Hotel is a charming boutique stay with real character.
Pros:

The hotel’s breakfast was a genuine highlight of the stay, perfectly prepared hot dishes, and a generous selection of fruit and local specialties. Everything was beautifully presented, and the quality was evident in every bite. It was the kind of breakfast that set you up for the day.

Everything was excellent. I have no complaints at all.

Lovely hotel, but a shame about the uncomfortable bed and impractical shower
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, with lovely decor

Cons:

The bed was so uncomfortable. Myself and my husband had hardly any sleep. And the shower in our room was fixed and really high up on the wall so I could not angle it or lower it in order to wash properly.
