Excellent location for a short stay in Amsterdam, with train station, restaurants and shops close by
Pros:

The location was excellent... 5 min walk to the main train station. easy access to all modes of transportation, shopping and restaurants. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Cons:

I requested a single bed but got 2 twin beds pulled together.

Habitación pequeña, calurosa y sin ventilación.

Cons:

Absolutamente el hotel no cataloga de 3 estrellas. Las habitaciones no tienen ni ventana ni aire acondicionado, solo cuenta con un ventilador pequeño y un ventiluz sin conexión al exterior. Hace mucho calor en la habitación a principios de Junio. En el baño es bastante difícil limpiarse los dientes o la cara ya que hay un estante de vidrio que no te permite acercarte a la pileta. No se como obtuvo 3 estrellas este hotel. No volvería a ir ni lo recomendaría. El desayuno deja que desear.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff is friendly.

Cons:

The room was hot, no air conditioning. The noise from the street woke us up sometimes, but it didn't bother us.

Dissatisfied with value for money, but totally bearable for a few days
Pros:

Extremely friendly and dedicated staff; view from the breakfast room onto the dancing houses; strong and fast wifi connection; from my room at the back of the hotel, I heard no noise from the busy main street (only a smell from the restaurant next building when opening the window, but that was totally bearable); housekeeping and clean towels every day

Cons:

Amenities were really worn and drawers were a little disgusting, so storing anything in the VERY small room (maybe 5-6 square meters) inside any closets or drawers was not really feasible; the thermostat of the shower constantly produced a very loud noise; the safe in my room was broken (battery compartment had no cover and the batteries fell out), so it could not be used; the only socket next to the bed was only working when all the lights in the room were turned on (?), so charging your phone at night required either an extra long charging cable or a power bank; there were no vegan options at the breakfast buffet except for sometimes fruit and toast with peanut butter and jelly, not even any vegetables or plant based milk; only „full body“ mirror was above the bed, so to look at yourself you need to step onto the bed; it was overall pretty expensive for the tiny and not entirely clean room I received, however, the stay was fine for a few days
