. House built by Pawel Wlodkowic , servant of the king Jagiello , exciting
Hotel is located in the old town in a really nice building beautifully restored and remodelled. Tastefully. The atmosphere was unique, and you felt ´at home´ immediately.
The staff in the reception was very helpfull in the organisation of a trip to the concentration camps museums.
Our room - 302 - is next to a utility room which is very, very noisy. This kept me from sleeping well during 3 nights. The hotel had so few guests, that they could have put us in a less noisy room. But they did not.
Breakfast is not well organised. It took forever because the waiters did not take all orders at the same time. Another Example: When we are 3 people for breakfast, then serve us 3 croissants and not just 2.
We had dinner in their restaurant. When they presented the bill, we had to pay for a tasting menu, but we never asked for or had a tasting menu. The restaurant is by the way very expensive compared to similar restaurants we visited during the same trip.
The water in the pool is ice cold. Maybe that is part of the concept, but not a concept we appreciate.
Internet is slow, but that is not that important for us, but could be important for other travellers.
Location and helpful staff.
Uncomfortable bathroom.
The location was excellent, but my kids were in room 105 just above the restaurant, on the first night
there was a party in the restaurant and it was very loud until very late, maybe 1 am, my kids were disturb and could not sleep also until late. Maybe hotel employees should have asked these people to be respectful of other guests who were trying to sleep.
the bridge in the pool was dirty
Complimenti per la posizione e la cordialità
Everything! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. We’ve been there a day before our wedding and we were really stressed and tired. They made sure that everything was perfect and on time. We even got a bottle of champagne and chocolate truffles to celebrate our marriage which was extremely nice of them!:)
They made a booking in a restaurant for us and the chef not only accommodated our diet (vegetarian) but also create a whole new menu with Michelin level dishes (and we’re both chefs that work in this environment) the waiters were really attentive as well and professional.
Now every time when we’ll be in need of a hotel in Krakow we will go to this one.
