Wonderful stay like home

For a short stay, it's a really bang for your buck.
Pros:

The property is five minutes away from the town which was great. It is secluded enough and they offer shuttle buses every hour to go to the town.

Cons:

The hotel is a little bit outdated. Some of the necessities like the pool, hot tub were not available. Their system was down when we went so we had to wait for a little bit to check-in.

Pros:

Very scenic location, (Cascade Mountain is "right in your face") nice kitchen facilities with a fireplace. There is shuttle (once every hour) into town

Cons:

The hotel is 1/2 mile out of town so have to rely on the shuttle. The summer season is very expensive (475.00) per night. You have to pay for firewood ($11.00 per bundle, two to three bundles are needed). The Tunnel Mountain resort includes it in the room price.

Tout était super, la piscine extérieure chauffée, la navette de l'hôtel au centre de Banff a été super pratique. La chambre était très bien pour 4 adultes. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Cons:

Le nettoyage des chambres peur être amélioré, il y avait quelques cheveux sur les draps et restait des traces dans la salle de bain.

Expensive but poor quality
Pros:

Outside the town but a short drive in with easy free parking at the train station. Nice view from the room of the woodland and quiet.

Cons:

For the cost I would expect a lot more, it felt like very little had been spent on updating the facilities or decor. The appliance were really old and had the greasy feel when it’s been cleaned regularly but not properly. The sofa was very uncomfortable and the whole space quite small.
