Porto Sani

This was our second stay at Porto Sani and it was perfect once again from start to finish.

1. The atmosphere is chilled, family friendly and luxury - a very difficult balance to strike but Porto manages this.
2. Heated pools in May were great - little ones splashed around all day without getting cold. Ordering food to sun loungers via a QR code was super helpful with two small children who dipped in and out of the pool.
3. Food - delicious and plentiful, we stayed full board and mainly used the buffet restaurants for ease with small children (in Club, Beach and Porto) - they are wonderful. No queues, seated as though dining ala carte, great choices, fresh food, dedicated kids section and fantastic staff.
4. Facilities - immaculate. Rooms, reception, each and every part of Sani is manicured to a high standard.
5. Staff - go above and beyond, please don't ever lose this, it sets Sani apart! Thank you to all at Porto (too many to name) for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable.
6. Golf buggies - convenient - useful for hungry small kids needing to get to a restaurant fast!
7. Shows - Please please please keep the shows at the outdoor theatre (dancing/musical numbers) - they are West End production quality and were a real highlight of our stay. I heard Ikos may be changing the format of the shows to move towards more piano/jazz evenings instead - while also nice and certainly tasteful this wouldn't entertain our family in the same way as something visual and we would greatly miss these. Let's hope that's just a rumour and doesn't impact Sani!
8. Beaches - clean always sunbeds available, private/safe, easy to order drinks/snacks.

Both times at Porto have been the most stress-free holidays we have had and a real treat for us (as tired parents)! We didn't use the kids club preferring to do things as a family but heard it was great. We tried basketball, table tennis, tree-top challenge and pedalos.

It was our fifth visit to Sani Resort, and we once again had a fantastic experience at Porto Sani. Service levels were of the usual high standard throughout our stay.

We were checked on and asked for feedback on our final evening; Vefa was excellent. However, I feel this conversation might have been more beneficial if it had taken place midway through the holiday, as some of our feedback could potentially have been actioned during our stay.

All of the restaurants were beautiful and continued to maintain their very high standards.

The Chelsea Academy was fantastic as always. The coaches are brilliant, and my son and I genuinely look forward to catching up with them year after year.

One area that I believe must be improved for 2026 is the Garden Theatre, which has previously been our favourite part of the evening entertainment. There are a few points worth reviewing:

The earlier start time made it very difficult to coordinate dinner reservations, the Chelsea Football Academy, and an early children’s show.

There was one fewer show in 2025, and the cinema evening was disappointing.

The shows were the same as those in 2024 and felt outdated and flat. We heard similar feedback from many returning guests.

Overall, we continue to love returning to Sani and hope this feedback is helpful when planning future seasons.

We had another perfect stay at Porto Sani. As a family we stayed in the 3 bedroom suite with private pool - it is fantastic, spacious and comfortable. It has a generous sized garden with plenty of outdoor furniture for all types of lounging. The L shaped pool is cleverly designed so there's always part in the sun and part in the shade.

We've previously stayed in the junior suites which I am a big fan of - they are very spacious and thoughtfully designed with private gardens opening onto the freeform pool. This provides a semi-private pool experience without the premium! It's perfect for when you have little ones who inevitably forget something in the room as getting back to the room is mere steps away! There are comfortable thick padded sun loungers everywhere (including in junior suite gardens) and more towels than anyone needs.

The Porto team, managed by Mr Sakis, continues to impress. Each hotel at Sani resort has its own character and style of service - Porto's style is one of elevated personalised service. The staff remember your name, your preferences and make you feel valued. Ioanna Dasylla deserves special mention for creating such a memorable holiday. We also appreciated the slick and friendly service from Chris at Artemis / Elia and Riyad at Elia.

The key reason that we keep returning to Sani is that it feels familiar yet always has fun surprises in store. As children grow, their interests change and each visit brings something new - this time we rented bikes, tried the Bear Grylls experience and did our first scuba session (in the pool!). The promenade to Sani Club is wonderful and cycling along it with the beach on one side was wonderful ! Themed dinners (i.e. Halloween) are always a hit with children.

To get the most from your trip plan ahead and book early - it's never too soon to plan at Sani.

Mr Sakis genuinely appreciates his guests choosing Sani and is proactive in ensuring each stay is memorable. It is this special combination of authenticity and magic that means we continue to return.

Amazing stay at Porto Sani!

We had an incredible experience at Porto Sani everything was perfect from start to finish! The tennis facilities were excellent, very well maintained, and the coaches were professional and friendly.

We absolutely loved the Lima restaurant the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The Macaroni restaurant was also fantastic, and the manager Eleni was so kind and lovely .

A special thank you to Julian, our personal concierge, who was truly amazing went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable stay.

From day one she made our stay very homely
Everyone was so pleasant From the hosts to room service, the concierge and even the buggy drivers.
The only thing I wish was different was the drinks policy which has always been in place.
You pay for the drinks at every meal.
At other all inclusive resorts I’ve been the drinks come with the package.
I would hope they would either adopt this in the future or have a flat rate for all drinks of any kind(subsidising the drinks) they would make much more if each drink was 5 euros flat for example.

We stayed in Porto Sani for one week ond hod a fantastic time. Very huge resort, but diveded in many smaller areas. You never get the feeling of mass tourism. I guess I had the best food in a hotel ever. Even buffet restaurants like the Artemis are much better regarding quality than many other a-la-carte restaurants in other hotels. Just the number of offered dinner and lunch options os well as the reservation policy is quite overwhelming at the beginning. You should invest some time before you arrive to find the most suitable locations for your preferences. Very friendly staff and beautiful gordens everywhere made our trip very memorable. Don‘t miss the offered Volvo tour - thanks Vangelis for the friendly sightseeing tour!

We had the most amazing holiday at Porto Sani with our friends! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so special — the warm welcome, the beautiful surroundings, and the attention to detail everywhere. The staff were genuinely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The food was outstanding, and every meal felt like a treat. It was the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and luxury. We had another wonderful summer at Sani Resort, staying at Porto Sani. A big thank you to all the staff — warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Even though the resort is large and hosts many guests, you never feel like just a number. The personal touch is truly remarkable.

Special compliments to the chefs, restaurant managers, and their teams for the delicious food. There’s something tasty for everyone, from young children to adults. The breakfast buffet was fresh, beautifully presented, and offered a wide variety. The made-to-order egg dishes and pancakes for the kids were a real treat.

The lifeguards were very alert, which gave us peace of mind as parents. It’s reassuring to know there are extra eyes watching over the children while they enjoy the clean and well-maintained pools.

We also tried several other restaurants within the resort, and each one was excellent. There’s a great selection of dining options to suit every taste.

Thank you to Efthimis Nikolaidis, Eleni Dimaki, Jacob, Sergio Tsantekidis, and all the amazing team members at the resort. You made our summer holiday truly unforgettable once again!

Our son loved travelling around on the buggies, the resort is huge and there are so many beaches that you dont know which to pick. Staff is very nice especially at reception and club cars. Thank you Ioanna for the care and attention. We especially liked lima restaurant with the peruvian cuisine very nicely decorated and the staff is amazing especially Leonidas. I forgot to mention Julian from club car drivers.

What an amazing resort , every attention to detail , beautifully decorated, incredibly grounds which are fabulously maintained. The staff are beyond amazing they genuinely want you to have a great holiday and experience and they cannot do enough for you from the reception staff to the housekeeping , it is the staff that makes this resort .
The restaurants are well catered for the fussy eater to those with allergies and children .

The experience here at sani resort has spoiled us immensely. The facilities are amazing and new and also the service is amazing, all the staff here have been trained very well and it shows. Food is also amazing and there is huge variety there are buffet restaurants as well as a la carte, there is a ton of activities as well like yoga,tennis,football. Big thank you to julian,manel,argiro,iona.

Went as family of 4 with 4 month old and 2 year old. Loved it!
You can tell the staff are trained well on how to interact with children in porto (not sure about other hotels) . They made it very easy for us in restaurants. Extremely accommodating hotel for children (would expect this anyway due to how expensive!). But very impressed with all the staff. Restaurants all beautiful and porto was more of homely luxurious feel and not as busy as sani beach i would say. Great location and access to other hotels. Food was delicious but think they need more variety in cuisines as European food can get quite mundane after few days personally so the asian restaurant was good but it was a la carte. Should include more variety of food within the dine around menus.

From start to finish it was the most fun and relaxing time we could have had as a young family.

We have an 8 month old and it was his first trip abroad, and this was a special time for all of us and one we wanted to remember.

The accommodation, the food, the setting and most importantly the service were all amazing. Thank you Julian!

The room was beautiful, well kept with everything we wanted including bottle sanitisers, a lovely cot and baby bathing equipment.

Our room looked over the splash pool, meaning we could take our son for his first time in the water and let him sense it (and he loved it). The splash pool is warm too, so there was no issue with him getting uncomfortable (even though he also loved the colder sea).

Food is lovely everywhere, use the dine around as the food is always great and the other restaurants are lovely but not substantially better than the dine around.

Massive thank you to Julian who was our concierge and helped us with all reservations, booking tennis for us, a special tour of the island and ensuring that if we ever had a question or a need to change something it was just a text away. Thank you sir!

Anisa is an absolute magician! Her massage at Porto Sani was the best I’ve ever had – pure professionalism, warm energy, and an incredible sense of relaxation. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to feel completely renewed.

Our first time and it was pretty good. Big pools everywhere and lots of stuff to do like activities, sports (tennis/football), spas, yoga, I can go on but you get it there is something for everyone of every age. Huge variety of food ranging from western to eastern cuisine you will definitely find something you like and the staff everywhere is amazing very helpful and friendly.

My 3rd year at porto sani and still the resort never ceases to amaze me , I am always happy to see familiar faces when I come back here the stuff is always helpful and attentive ready to assist with any request. The resort is huge and the club cars are so helpful to get around and my son loves the club cars going around with them is his favourite thing, special thanks to Manel for driving us around. Guys at the restaurants are amazing too Erisa,Tasos,Leonidas. Thanks for always making our stay unique and enjoyable.

This has been our 2nd time at the resort and i can definitely say it wont be our last. Porto is the perfect place to spend your vacation here with your family, an ideal place for young kids. There is a huge amount of activities that you can do together here as a family with young kids, the restaurants are many and will satisfy all tastes, so many pools and beaches to enjoy and the staff everywhere is amazing. Definetly a place to keep coming back and everything contributes to an amazing atmosphere.

It was my first time here at porto sani to see some friends who were staying here and i must say it has been an eye opening experience. The service here is amazing, staff is very friendly and there so much stuff to do in regards to activities, lets not forget 27 restaurants in the resort have something for everyone
