I would like to say I loved it but they cancelled our reservation while we were en-route from Canada. We were delayed en-route by flight changes and tried to do the hotel a courtesy by letting them know we would not arrive the first night, but would be there very late for our second night. Since it was all paid for and non-refundable we knew we would not get money back, but at least we had a room for our late arrival on day two, or so we thought. Instead they told us we were amending our reservation and therefore they were cancelling our reservation. We had not amended anything. With 18 hours of flying left to go, and little chance of making new arrangements while in the air, they left us with no place to stay upon a midnight arrival. Not very nice!
After some e-mail 'discussion' they refunded the second night. Apparently it was a busy concert weekend in Christchurch so I think they booked out our room and doubled-up on their room fees with no concern about our situation.
We had an excellent experience at the hotel with a special mention to the staff who went above and beyond in my opinion.
When we arrived, we explained our departure time and that we had paid for overnight parking in a nearby parking lot. The receptionist told us that we could park for our two night stay in the car park, one night being complimentary.
The room was clean and large enough. Of course we heard the trams but that is largely unavoidable when based above the tram stop. The latest they ran was about 10pm.
One point re accessibility- on the first floor out of the lift there are four steps, so not great for less able persons.
I left an expensive piece of clothing behind and was contacted the following day. They checked with the post office and we agreed on an appropriate service to return it to the UK. First class service and greatly appreciated.

As a frequent hotel user, this one was very disappointing. We booked the most expensive room. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The windows were beautiful but overall, the room was very basic. The bathroom was so tiny 2 people could be in there at once. There was a pulsating sound all night from somewhere within the hotel and it’s not sound proof. The sound of the tram was expected but be aware there are 2 bars near by. I would have expected a more high end experience. The reception and staff member were uninviting. Given the choice in future I wouldn’t stay here again. The value for money was poor. I’ve had much better stays elsewhere for cheaper.

Room was nice, was a little cold last night with no extra blankets available (we got back too late to call reception after hours).
Location was great. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Heaps of parking around. Love the colour scheme and decor. Included a $25 voucher to a nearby cafe which was perfect for breakfast.
Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 115, convenient location, within walking distance to all the best food spots, shopping and landmarks. Exceptional service from all reception staff, super friendly and accommodating! Thankyou!!
The hotel is quite average. Some staff seem disengaged which clearly indicates a deficiency in training and communication by senior managers.
The area near the hotel is interesting and there are plenty of dining options. The breakfast provided at the Cafe attached to the Library was the highlight of our stay.

Nice boutique hotel in an excellent location. Close to everything and you can pick up the tram just down stairs. We had a room with the balcony and loved it. We were outside on the terrace as much as we could. No complaints about the service and we would definitely stay there again.

Staff were great, hotel is super cute and I loved all the pops of yellow. The car park was a bit interesting- we had a specific spot to park that was a tight squeeze under pipes. Apart from that, was a great location and clean.
Hand for the city centre. Nice to be able to use the pool etc opposite.

The hotel is unassuming, but absolutely beautiful. The landing areas are well put together and curated nicely. It’s looked right at the tram stop one so it’s central to everything in Christchurch center. 10/10 recommend.
This was my second stay at Hotel 115 - I came back because I loved it last time.
Although everything I loved was still in place, my room this time was very small. This time I was travelling for business, and really could have done with a desk. My bad for not checking.
My other issue was I arrived quite late (8pm - which they knew), on a very cold night. There was no heating on in the room - it would have been a nice touch to have turned that on, even on low.
