I reserved a room at a 4-star hotel but apparently stayed at a 1-star hotel.
Pros:

I liked the pool and hot tub, which were the main two reasons we chose this specific hotel. The staff was also mostly friendly and helpful but did not communicate reservation changes to me at check-in and did not follow up with me when I called about the broken TV in my room. However, when I talked to the front desk agent at check out about my issues, they did get me a discounted price on the room and parking for my troubles, so I appreciated that.

Cons:

It was not disclosed to me at check-in that my room had been changed from my reservation, so I went into the room with the expectation that it would be what I purchased and was highly disappointed that it was not. I was told this was because I didn't prepay so they gave my room away, which is a weird policy to have in place considering there's already a cancellation policy and I did not cancel. I was told my wifi would be complimentary, but it still took me to the paywall after I tried to log in. I did not have a working TV and called to get it fixed but no one came. I did not have sheets for the pull-out sofa but since I didn't hear from anyone regarding the TV, I didn't bother calling about it. The fact that you have to purchase the breakfast package and then it only covers 2 breakfasts is also very ridiculous. The nickel and diming of every single thing was crazy and disappointing. I work front desk at a hotel and if any of my guests experienced what I did, I would be appalled and embarrassed.

My stay was enjoyable.

The location was a little too far from downtown. But I enjoyed the hotel it was clean, friendly staff, and the rooms were spacious for my family.

A great stay
Pros:

Staff was very welcoming. They changed the room right away. The original room was a little strange in terms of layout and dark. I was immediately moved with no fuss of any sort. The front desk staff was excellent.

Cons:

Wifi should not be charged. I don't know any property that charges wifi in this day and age. A suite should have a microwave available, not all do at this property.

Pros:

Overall we were very happy with our stay. The price is quite reasonable if you're traveling with a larger group or want/ need a suite hotel. The staff was very nice everywhere we encountered anyone.

Cons:

For us the heavily scented lobby/ common areas were tough. I also had a love/ hate relationship with the pool situation. We stayed over a long weekend, not a holiday. On Saturday we went down to the pool shortly after 9pm. It was soooo loud!! The pool was packed with families, there was a movie being projected on the wall, there were zero towels, beach balls flying and hitting you, zero chairs or tables available to put your things. Not a big deal. We went to the lobby desk and asked for some towels and were told Housekeeping would bring some to the pool. We also decided to ride it out as we also had teens with us who wanted to swim and figured there would be a quiet hour coming or it would clear out once the movie was over. When the movie was over, another started. At 9:48pm we managed to get a chair for the one person in our party not swimming. Still no towels. Laundry basket full of towels still over flowing and all over the floor. Still kids screaming, chasing each other around the deck, splashing literally everyone (even in the hot tub), still patents throwing their kids in the pool. We had finally had enough and had to go back to our room soaking wet through the halls to reuse our room towels. The idea of the movie and pool is great. But there should be a quiet hour or maybe after 9:30pm or something. Also, their could be a little more frequent walk through by Housekeeping or staff in general on a busy weekend night if that is the set up.

For the room, overall it was fine and we were pleased. We did have to get an extra roll of tp as a spare was not in the room and it was three adult and two teens, all females so... but not a big deal. And lastly, our suite was supposed to be two queens and a couch bed. It was two fulls and a couch bed.

Hoping to return before the summer ends!
Pros:

The front desk team was phenomenal! But the best parts of our stay was how excellent the hotel smells and how clean the hotel was all throughout the hotel!! Wherever we went, the hallways, front desk or whatever area you're in in the hotel, it smells so darn delicious. It's the most wonderful smell in the world.The hotel was totally clean.
I couldn 't believe how incredibly clean our room was.
The staff is amazing. The food was fresh. The decor was so beautiful and modern and eloquent! Five stars all day! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved out stay and we would stay again
Pros:

Room was big enough for the 4 of us with lots of space. Parking was great we didn't have to park too far and the breakfast in the morning was perfect for us.
