Carlsbad Seapointe Resort

This is a lovely resort, close to so many wonderful activities. Best for me was all you have to do is walk across the street and you're at the beach! Loved it!

Comfortable bed

Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Had all the amenities on site.

We have stayed at the hotel before and it was nice to see the amenities had been completed. It was under constructions in our prior stay years ago.

Carlsbad Seapoint resort did not disappoint. A great location, nice staff, and wonderful amenities. The room was clean and had everything we needed for the week. Comfortable bed, fireplace and ocean view! Short walk to the ocean.

The amazing view of the ocean and sunset was incredible. The pools and hot tubs were super great. The staff were friendly and so nice. Highly recommend a vacation at this resort.

Didn't eat breakfast

Excellent location with nearby (walkable) train (free) into Carlsbad. Enjoyed the farmer's market there on Wednesdays. Beaches are nearby. 30-40 min to San Diego. Rooms are very clean. Firepits, pool available

We've stayed in a dozen resorts in Southern California and this is the best run, best maintained, and most comfortable of them all. Very close to the beach and convenient to Carlsbad, Oceanside, and San Diego.

Great location and easy to get to.

We had a little misunderstanding with our booking and the staff made it right for us within a half hour of our arrival. Thank you Michael! We love the location, how quiet and secluded it is, the views/sunsets, the adult only pool (though there is a full size family pool too), that some activities are offered, beach access! We will be back :)

The excellent hotel staff made this getaway trip for me and my 85 year old mother very enjoyable and comforting. The entire hotel staff was friendly, kind, helpful, warm and welcomed us and all guests like family.
Worth mention, Michael at the front desk was extremely sweet and caring. Even before our stay, I had called the resort the week before trying to finalize which GPX resort location to make the reservation. Michael was the one who had answered and patiently answered all my questions about the resort and helped with comparison of the two resorts I was considering. He was kind, respectful and extremely patient and part of the reason I decided to reserve a stay at Seapointe Carlsbad was because of the telephone exchange with Michael.

I was pleased to meet Michael in person during our stay and find that his hospitality and care for the guests are genuine and sincere.

Our stay was enhanced by the excellent activities staff led by their friendly fearless leader Dexter. Dexter’s care and concern for all the guests and the excitement and joy he infused into the simplest activities was the best part of participating. Dexter and his staff ( Noemi and Fernando) were 100% focused on providing an inclusive, fun social experience for guests of all ages.
The entire hotel staff was above and beyond with their genuine customer care. The warm, welcoming atmosphere is one of the major reasons I would come back and vacation here again.

It was great to see Brandy Forsyth again this week. And to meet our new GM, Brittany! The hospitality at SeaPointe is a big part of the magic!
We did Marguerita Monday with Dexter. And we can’t miss the Wine and Cheese Social. Lots of fun! BTW…it was a great idea to have the Christmas wrapping station in the lobby this week!! Who came up with that great idea!!

Our vacation stay was improved due to a Man named Julio in the maintenance department. He serviced the fireplace in the room that we were assigned. We are most appreciative for his commitment to stay until it was working properly. Give this man Julio a raise. We'll done young man.
