Pros:

Clean and quiet place it was great get away. Everything is close food and beach. Temp control pool when it was cold a big plus. And complementary breakfast was great. And the carlsbad 5000 was going on too..

Only thing door to bathroom was stick but worked.

Cons:

My overnight stay interrupted with a massage power outage that lasted about 2 hours 😢while. Waiting in line to get ice-cream,, shop shut down for safety reason, returned after restored, but never reopened.😫hotel had no generator backup, sat in the dark with no TV, limited flashlight use on our phones, due to low battery on cell phones. Unable to charge with no electricity.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen en fijn hotel met mooi uitzicht
Pros:

Personeel was super, vooral de manager Andrew, ontzettend vriendelijk en warm. Iemand die echt plezier heeft in zijn werk. Kwam gelijk met allerlei tips. Leuk om op het dek in de comfortabele stoelen te zitten en naar het uitzicht/ de zonsondergang te kijken. Mooi hotel, ruime kamers. Openhaard in de kamer, erg knus. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Tip: Gonzo de bar in de buurt.

Location and staff are the best!

Cons:

They are in the middle of construction to upgrade,so there was noise. But that has to happen. There was road construction as well. I do not like that they charge for parking now. It's been a few years since they did this. But it lowers the great value this once was.

the location is about all that i liked and the fire pit. parking was a plus. there is not much else that i would like to say but your forcing me to write more...

Cons:

the construction happening was not optimal. The bed sucks and the pillows and the sheets and the towels were horrible. Everything in the room needs renovation. There was rust everywhere. The AC was terrible.

Property is old and worn. Could use some TLC. Simple improvements like working window blinds and screens would help. Also, there were no grab bars in bathroom making getting in and out of the tub in an extremely small bath dangerous. The cost of parking was a bit excessive considering there was no security.
