Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter hält mich davon ab richtig Luft abzulassen, deshalb nur die Spitze des Eisbergs.

Cons:

Es liefen über Tage hinweg immer die selben 2 albernen Lieder abwechselnd in Dauerschleife. Die Beschallung war im gesamten Hotel, selbst im Zimmer konnte man sich dem nicht entziehen.
Die Zimmer selbst waren sehr klein und boten kaum Privatsphäre. Die Zimmertüren sind eher Deko, jegliche Unterhaltung dringt von außen nach innen und umgekehrt und leider auch wie vorhin erwähnt die Musik.
Man stößt andauernd irgendwo an! Wir beide haben mehrere blaue Flecken. Und für ein umgefallenes Weinglas, was auch nur Resultat der Enge war, wurde uns eine Rechnung von 4700 Baht präsentiert.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sehr traditionell gehalten. Hier hat man sich wirklich wie in Thailand gefühlt.
Die Unterkunft ist vergleichsweise sehr günstig, es wird aber trotzdem viel geboten.
Die Bilder, die bei Booking angezeigt werden, stellen die Unterkunft nicht so gut dar, als sie tatsächlich ist. Wir waren positiv überrascht als wir die Unterkunft in Echt gesehen haben.
Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt und würde von uns nochmal gebucht werden

Cons:

In der Wand war vermutlich eine Wasserpumpe eingebaut, die angefangen hat zu pumpen, sobald im Haus das Wasser genutzt wurde. Das Geräusch hat gestört, aber wenn man die Badezimmertür geschlossen hat, war es weniger wahrnehmbar.

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom spacious .

Cons:

This place is under new owners and all the previous reviews about free coffee in the lobby and efficient reception is a thing of the past. All you get is fake apologies and smiles from an inexperienced young lady.
Breakfast was very basic. No buffet, just a plate of whatever they serve. Scramble eggs were a bit burnt. No fruit on offer.
No English TV channels as displayed on room TV guide. Only Thai shopping channels. New owner has canceled cable TV subscription.
This place is not within walking distance of any good restaurants. Had 7/11 dinner on the first night. You need to taxi or hire a car as we did.
The pool had leaves and floating debris . No pool towels on offer.
Small windows made it look dingy inside.
They offered a complimentary airport shuttle on booking.com but receptionist said they no longer have a vehicle.
For the price paid, this hotel / motel is poor value.

An amazing place to stay.
Pros:

The architecture is amazing combining colonial and Thai design. It is very warm and inviting. The kindness and thoughtfulness towards the guest was is evident for the full duration on my 4 day visit, having returned again for a 2nd time.

What an amazing hidden jewel of a place. Full on Chiang Mai Thai design and it unfolds as you arrive inside to gorgeous furnishings and decor. My room was perfect. Every detail about!
