Wonderful staff and a very nice spacious room
Bathroom was a bit dated and no parking was a pain although there are public car parks a short walk away.

Building works. No draught lagers of any description (ran out). Hotel noisy with guests running around corridors from 2.00 am until 4.00am

Lovely atmosphere and happy friendly staff. Easy access the the city centre.
Great location a short 10min (flat) stroll from the main shopping street. Lewis on Reception was a lovely lad, very welcoming, calm and efficient after a stressful day travelling. Booked one night pre-cruise and also as a "day room" while waiting for a late flight home after disembarkation.
A little more attention from housekeeping to check stocks of coffee, tea etc in the room (on both days they were poor).
Great hotel well located in Southampton - near to the theatres and city centre. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was comprehensive and served until 11am on a Saturday.
The bar could have stayed open later. 11pm on a Saturday night felt a bit early and there were plenty of people around who were looking for a drink.
