Great location to explore Southampton from
Could do with more guidance on Parking. Southampton has poor car parks where you wouldn’t want to leave your car overnight, some suggestions (without accepting liability) would have been helpful
Staff are lovely and really try to please, they make this place. Public areas and room kept very clean.
Slapdash approach to room cleaning. For example, they left glasses and mugs which needed cleaning and also a room service tray from the night before.

This is my go to hotel for several years already and every time I remember why, Location is excellent, staff is very friendly and welcoming. Lewis behind reception desk and Sakshi and Charlie in the bar are wonderful and deserve a mention. Love it that there is plenty of seating in the bar area. Rooms are spacious and despite being in the centre of the city next to a busy road, I can sleep without earplugs as you dont hear much from outside. Excellent.
The 'normal' coffee in the room was not stacked up every morning. A few times I found myself with just a few sachets of decaf which I do not drink. Also one day, housekeeping did not arrive to clean the room till well in the evening, while I did not have a 'do not disturb' sign on. It was a bit odd, as I expect them to clean the rooms during the day.
Apart from this, all excellent as usual.
