Excellent service and large comfortable room
Bathroom although very clean had an. Overwhelming smell of bleach
We absolutely loved this property. It was incredibly comfortable, but what truly made our stay special was the exceptional staff. After a 3 hour bus travel from London, we arrived at 3:00PM and quite exhausted. We mentioned to Tereza that we were seniors celebrating our 38th Wedding Anniversary and hoped for a comfortable room. She went above and beyond, immediately providing us with a complimentary upgrade to an executive suite and when we arrived at the hotel after our city walked we recieved a yummy cake with a message “ Happy Anniversary”. We were amazed of the love and compassion we received from her. We had a fantastic, restful sleep and a complimentary breakfast. Anyway, i am a Genius Level 3 member.
Upon checkout, Lewis assisted us for a storage of our luggages while we were waiting for our taxi pick up for our Northern European Cruise and of course booked by the pretty frontdesk Tereza. It was a "super-duper" great staying in this hotel for breakfast was sumptuous. The location is perfectj just a 10-minute walk to City Center especially to restaurants and shopping. United Kingdom is expensive, but for our 38th anniversary, it was worth every penny! A Filipina staff Tina is amazing.

The location is absolutely terrible, I wouldn't stay again purely of where it is, built on a roundabout with no parking. This needs to be made aware of on your website
There was a mix up over the booking by booking.com but the the hotel but Tereza at reception upgraded our room and gave us drinks vouchers. The manageress also came to us to apologise. We always stay at the Leonardo when in Southampton.

We liked everything about the Hotel. We received Excellent service delivery. The ENTIRE staff team are Brilliant. Very great and wonderful team. The location is great. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Great atmosphere at the bar. The restaurant staff are absolutely fantastic. The food is Excellent - great variety. We strongly recommend Leonardo Hotel to anyone that wants a good experience, a good and wonderful stay.
We did not like some guest parking their cars in front of the Hotel. This should not be tolerated by the Hotel staf

Our room had complimentary coffee/drinks which was good although this was forgotten (?) at check-in. Had to go back to reception to ask however another staff Morita sorted it out efficiently.
Dinner at the restaurant was good. Used the luggage storage facility at check out, can't recall the staff's name who handled it but he was efficient, friendly at drop off & pick up.
Breakfast was lovely and hot! Really lovely lady called Tina was front of house at brekkie, very welcoming smile (she was at the bar later in the afternoon too & had the same energy 🌞).
Small niggle; we had an issue with our keys/passes when we arrived (it wasn't near our mobiles), both didn't work. Had to go back down to get another set.
Sheer curtain in the room had small stains. Bath tub needs a good deep clean. Shower curtain a bit too short/just below the top of the bath tub.
First 2 waiting staff at dinner/restaurant seemed overwhelmed. One forgot an item ordered, these things happen but then it didn't arrive until we were about to finish. One seemed apathetic; delivered the forgotten item without a tray so her finger was in the salad bowl, almost touching the salad. My husband asked for a glass of whisky and she dropped it off in the middle of the table in haste. Had to catch her attention and ask if it was because she didn't know who it was for and she said yes...we laughed it off but it seemed obvious she couldn't be bothered to ask.
There was another staff from the kitchen who brought our mains and dessert; she was friendly and calm.
