Very unique and interesting! Beautiful pool!
Pros:

Uniqueness! Warm clean swimming pool and hot tubs! Free parking! So many cool rooms and lots of things to look at and see. Horses!

Riding the coat tails of former glory....

The heated outdoor pool and restaurant.

Cons:

The rooms were in need of repair, the wallpaper peeling, dusty, broken light fixtures, broken headboard on bed, leaking showers, poor lighting in the room and bathroom.

We looked forward to hanging out at the very well photographed pool and hot tub area with the added n onus of a poolside bar being available. Well, upon check-in we're told the bartender called out and that it wouldn't be available, there was debris in the pool and hot tubs. Trash from guest around the pool, a clear sign that hotel staff weren't checking in on the area.

My wife and I would have gotten much more value and bang for our buck having stayed someplace newer and better maintained. The Madonna Inn may have been great, but at this point they're just banking on former glory to keep them afloat. We definitely won't be staying again.

Madonna Inn is ICONIC
Pros:

The Madonna Inn is so iconic and fun, it was on my bucket list! I’m so glad I finally stayed! Dinner at the restaurant was phenomenal; amazing food and awesome, personal service. Breakfast in the cafe was casual and fun too! Will definitely be back if I’m on another California road trip!

Cons:

The rooms are very clean but slightly dated. I know, I know- it’s part of the schtick of the Madonna Inn, but it’s a fairly simple, bare bones stay (bathroom design, bedding, carpets, etc).

Love how unique it is! The pool was really awesome! You have to have the Pink Champagne Cake!

Pros:

The property is so fun and whimsical but what really made the difference was the staff that went above and beyond to get my daughter’s blanket back to me when we left it behind. Blankets are key for bedtime if you know you know- so grateful they saved my daughter from so much sadness!
