Loved our room and the pool. The sweet potato fries at the cafe were the best I’ve ever had. Also the pink champagne cake was amazing. We loved the entire vibe at the Madonna Inn.
Pool area is nice - secret garden is cute
The hotel room was disappointing. The hotel needs an upgrade - some of the outlets didn't work - furniture is old, carpet is unappealing. Graduation weekend is more pricey but I didn't think that $550 per night for a small room is appropriate.

Receptionist not too friendly
This is a place that will never disappoint. The steakhouse is amazing, and the Copper Cafe has great desserts. The rooms are all different and extremely, well, goddy, if I must say, but oh so much fun. If you have friends, you have to take a tour of each other's rooms. Once we stayed in the Safari Room; this time, we stayed in the Kona Rock Room. The pool area is beautiful, and you can walk into the pool, meaning no stairs. Don't forget to check out the men's restroom at the main restaurant lobby. You must flush the toilet in there to get the full effect. Many women have checked it out. LOL!
First visit at age 55. Wish I’d had come sooner lol It’s such a unique place to stay! We stayed in the Yosemite Room. Perfect location. Building 3. Short walk to pool area ( pool was heated and felt so good..the pool bar was a nice touch, offering charcuterie and small snacks for purchase). The Yosemite room is a cave. Very rugged. So if you’re not steady on your feet, this isn’t the room for you. The bathroom double vanity has very few flat areas to set toiletry bags & flat irons. If you tend to have a lot of beauty supplies, the vanity will really frustrate you. I ended up putting a bath towel in one of the sinks to use it for storage. But with that being said, we loved the room. The fireplace facing the bed was a romantic touch. Plenty of natural light from the window. Free bottled water. Small fridge. A very unique room that gives you a sense of definitely ‘not being in Kansas anymore’ as Dorothy would say lol We were surprised to have a heated toilet seat with a bidet! The mattress is VERY soft, which my lower back was not a fan of 🤪 Two fluffy robes are in the room which we wore to the pool. The food? GREAT! The meal at the steakhouse was excellent! My husband and I couldn’t believe the quality & taste. I got salmon, he got the sun-dried tomato pasta Alfredo. Free relish tray to munch on when you first sit down. Dinner rolls that are warm and fluffy comes with all the meals. My limoncello spritz was strong! Service was great. We loved the entire experience. We ate at the cafe for breakfast. Again, great food & service. I suggest getting to breakfast before 10. Even on a weekday is started getting busy. We splurged and ordered a piece of champagne cake with our breakfast. YOLO! So yummy and worth the high price tag. And I suggest making a reservation for the steakhouse. You don’t want to miss out on eating there. It’s beautiful! Obviously the hotel is dated, but still offers a quality experience and fun adventure. Being around the history adds to the fun! Parking was plentiful. Check-in was a breeze. You get a free picture of your hotel room in the form of a postcard when you check in. Overall a great experience and we can’t wait to go back and try another fun room theme :)
Beautiful property
No microwave or refrigerator in room. No extra blankets or sheets
This hotel is beautify and gaudy and fun, it is a vacation destination!
I have always wanted to stay at the Madonna Inn and it did not disappoint in fun and beauty. My one and only issue is because of the age of the hotel their electricity is not great for today’s many number of devices we all travel with these days. We could have been fine not charging our phones, watches, etc but we could not use our cpap which led to a night of really awful sleep. We tried unplugging items next to the bed to plug the cpap’s in but when we did lights in the room started blinking and fading in and out and we were worried we were going to cause and electrical fire. We could have called the office but we were both so tired we just went without using them thinking it would be fine but it wasn’t. So, hotel for fun, awesome! Hotel for sleep if you use a cpap and charging your electronics not so much.
The different rooms, great cafe and restaurant, spacious property, gift shop, and more.
Not much although the pricing of the room varies quite a bit so book in advance.
We love the heated pool, comfortable rooms, family friendly hotel.
We had some hits and some misses at the Copper Cafe. We had a family of nine stay and about half of our group love their food, leaving the other half lacking satisfaction. As a family we feel there could have been better seating options for us but instead we were eating in a booth that was too close for comfort.
Loved the heated pool! Room was very quiet as well and we loved the robes.
Bedside outlets wouldn’t work unless the lights were on, and the fixture in the bedroom was cooltone lights which was too harsh for my preference. I stayed to attend my friend’s wedding and the nearby bar patrons were SO LOUD through the whole ceremony- it was really awkward and distracting, and I’m shocked the venue allowed that. There’s so much attention to detail in some areas that these lapses were pretty jarring.
Uniikki hotelli ja huone. Valoisa, siisti ja tilava huone. Uima-allas ja poreamme käytössä. Idyllinen maalaismaisema.
