Pros:

Our rooms were really lovely, spacious and bed plus pillows very comfortable. Very nice buffet breakfast. good location in Algarve.

Cons:

There were issues with the pool during our stay and we were told at reception that water was not heating hoewever there was no further communication from the hotel re closure of indoor pool- we were there 4 nights and the outside pool was starting to fill on the final day. We thought a letter of explanation from management in the room would have been appropriate.
In the bar the waiters were young and on their mobile phones when not attending to residents.....pet hate of mine.
There were no bikes to use on the facility even if you had to pay....

Excellent place to explore area with many golf courses close by.
Pros:

Rooms were excellent and spacious with everything needs for a relaxing stay. Bed was very comfortable and choice of pillows. Area around pool large. Staff very attentive. Terrace was a pleasant place to sit.

Cons:

A very minor grumble was that it took ages to get a coffee at breakfast! You couldn’t serve yourself.

Exactamente aquilo que queríamos
Pros:

Já fiquei em vários hotéis de 5 estrelas no Algarve (todos mais bonitos que este - é preciso dizer). Mas nunca tive um serviço remotamente tão bom. Deixo um agradecimento particular a Raquel Mesquita e à sua equipa por um excelente trabalho e, mais raro, por uma atenção ao detalhe que não é costume por cá. Obrigado!

Fabulous
Pros:

Our suite was fabulous. Both the lounge and the bedroom had large patio doors with beautiful views of the garden. There were 2 bathrooms, which is unusual for a one bedroom suite. The sofa was comfy and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Sadly we were only there for one night. If we return to that area again, we would definitely stay there.

Amazing Staff – Couldn’t Have Been More Helpful- Flawless!
Pros:

We had a really AMAZING! stay and just wanted to say how impressed I was with the team.
When I arrived, I’d actually made a bit of a mess of my own reservation, so it wasn’t the smoothest start — totally my fault! But Rita and Joao were brilliant. They were calm, friendly, and so helpful, and they completely took the stress out of the situation. Honestly couldn’t have handled it better.
The service stayed at that level the whole time. Everyone was welcoming and professional, and you can tell the hotel is really well run. A special thanks as well to Joana, the hotel manager.
We will definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Superb Hotel with excellent service in all areas
Pros:

All areas immaculate from rooms, corridors, pool, bar and restaurant. Very well trained staff offering excellent customer service. My second visit and looking forward to my third. Spa area is also very classy. Massages were so good we went twice. Gardens are manicured very well and gym is clean and has everything you need. Food cooked to perfection and waiting staff did everything with a smile.
Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Guys behind the bar very professional and friendly. One of the best hotels I've stayed and I've stayed at hundreds. Even the hotel drivers were brilliant.
Hotel is close to many bars & restaurants and Ubers arrive within minutes. The walk to the beach is about 20 minutes and very impressive with the bridge & salt marshes. Highly recommend this.
Thank you to the whole team for making our stay very special.

Comfortable hotel, but limited dining facilities other than breakfast

Excellent breakfast buffet in a very pleasant restaurant
Hotel of high quality

Cons:

Evening dining a big disappointment. The choice is between bar food and a high quality gastronomic restaurant. Neither bar nor restaurant had many diners each evening. We found it surprising that the hotel doesn’t capitalize on the breakfast restaurant for a middle-of-the-road menu.
Hotel felt empty (although there were plenty of people at breakfast) and characterless
Suites are either « sunrise » or « sunset ». We chose « sunrise » which meant the suite was quite gloomy after late morning. Maybe not a problem in the summer, but not great in February.
The indoor pool and steam bath were out of service during our stay, apparently due to the bad weather in Portugal in January.

Pros:

My Husband and I had a 3 night stay at this hotel in February as we have booked for 14 of us to come over the easter holidays and wanted to check it out beforehand.We usually stay at The Conrad but decided to try the Wyndham for a change and we were very pleased that we did.The hotel is lovely, rooms are huge ,housekeeping is great and the hotel is spotless.The breakfast is amazing, so much choice .The gym is great for a hotel gym, has everything you need.The staff were all really helpful ,we managed to get an early check in which was much appreciated .The hotel has a really lovely spacious feel to it .We ate in the XXL Olivier restaurant and the food was amazing.Looking forward to our family trip here at easter.
