Booked Dusit D 2 Chiang Mai from 26/12 to 31/12 through Hotel .com in July 2024 however I received cancellation in October 2024 . I chat with booking agent n was told due to natural disaster . Can both parties explain more details about cancellation because you implied I cancel the reservation instead of YOU !

We have had a fabulous stay at Dusit D2, we love everything about this hotel, we felt the bed was a bit hard so housekeeping added topper straight away, everone of the staff here are so attentive and good at their job, special mention for trainee Song who will be a great asset to this hotel, all of the staff are great and extremely helpful. Great breakfast, everything you need, we ate several meals here, sadly not many guests ate here, the food was great, perhaps hotel could do some meal deals to encourage diners. I have loved every minute here, even during the floods which meant we couldnt get out and about, not the hotels fault. Thank you Dusit D2.

I’m not too happy about the bathroom. I would have preferred a separate shower area instead of showering in the bath tub. It was hard getting in and out of the bathtub to shower each time. I cannot imagine children or the elderly climbing in to shower. It’s hazardous and it’s an accident waiting to happen. The drainage in the bathtub is also poor. Water takes a long time to get drained out. Shower head also keeps dropping and finally I had to tell the staff about it to get it fixed. The TV in the room is too small in comparison to the room size. It’s perhaps only 38 inch. My home TV is larger. The reception of tv programmes was also poor and full of static. They do not provide face towels. Pillows and bed are too soft. Lifts are old and dark. Close-door button is not working. Swimming pool is miserable. Small and it is like a child’s pool. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The twin rooms should have walking shower. And breakfast is not upto the mark as per the prise paid.
The rooms are nice and lobby is good. They have good parking space and luggage storage service available. As Dusit Gold Member i have got a good deal and got complimentary early checkin.

We had a wonderful stay. Upon check-in, they upgraded us to a suite just to be nice, and it was perfect. Thank you so much!

Good location and very pleasant hotel staff.
A good guide also made the stay in Chiang Mai a memorable one.
I would recommend the DusitD2 Chiang Mai to those looking for a good clean hotel close to all the night market and food.
Whilst we did not use any of the hotel's offerings it was still comforting to know they were there.

Front Office staff were friendly and helpful. Pillows in the room were far too soft and therefore very uncomfortable. Cleaners didn't do a very good job at cleaning the room. I boiled water on the first evening I was there, and the water jug was not cleaned in all the 4 nights I stayed there.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the night bazaar but also within easy walking distance to the old city and nightlife

Overall hotel is excellent for everyone. Small hotel but full range of services are provided including dine in restaurant, fitness, spa and swimming pool. Staff are polite and friendly. Good location and easy access and close to downtown with walking distance.

Perfect location. Next to the daily night market. 5 min walk to ladyboy shows. Good breakfast options, and helpful with food allergies. Huge gym room that also has a sauna room.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. Clean and nice hotel, just a bit aged. Overall experience is good. Location is superb with several night bazaar and markets nearby. Vibrant location surrounding the Thai boxing and clubs. Will consider staying in this hotel in future.

We stayed here for 4 nights in August 2024. From a hotel point of view it was great. We had a fantastic 3 bedroom family suite for the 5 of us although how the youngest two ended up in the fancy bedroom / bathroom is beyond me.

The gym here was the best of all the hotels we stayed in. 5 star gym. Space, light, views, machines, barbell and plates (no cage), amity machine, weights everything and all the cardio stuff you might need. Really don’t understand why hotels don’t realise why this sort of things makes such a big deal for so many people and can make or break a hotel stay.

Pool was good and we had a nice afternoon there - just about big enough to swim and certainly great for the usual family ball games . Usual breakfast buffet. There was a nice bar but the hotel was just so close to the market that no one really used it which was a bit of a shame. From a location point of view it was great and everyone really enjoyed how convenient the night markets were. Recommended.

I have tried many spa in Chiangmai but devarana spa at dusit d2 is one of the best in town.Staff are friendly , Khun mai can recommend which treatment was suited me and explained all treatments well, therapist knew how to work on my body and conditions. Highly recommend to have massage here if you are in Chiangmai.

We were treated to an upgrade to a suite on check in which was lovely and had inter connecting door to our kids.

The rooms were both lovely however everything felt damp and there was definitely a smell of damp. All.of our clothes has a damp feeling and smell when we got to our next destination and all had to be laundered.

On the plus side, the staff could.not have been nicer and when something went astray from our room and they found it amongst the laundry after we had already left for the airport, a member of staff brought it to us.

A nice stay apart from the damp and a missing soft toy when the bed was changed.

Nice hotel easy walking distance to night markets. Pool and gym. Clean rooms.

Hotel is beautiful. Room is so spacious and clean. The best towels and slippers I’ve ever had. Night market is right around the corner so it’s very convenient to get food.
