ROOMS NEED AN UPDATE.
BEDS COULD USE AN UPATE.
The location was a fair drive to get to and from Universal. There were many restaurants and shops located in the area that were both enjoyable to dine in and explore, especially during our short visit. The staff was welcoming, pleasant, and overall friendly when interacting with them. The room was fairly decent, and we made ourselves comfortable as soon as we settled in. The free WiFI was also a very important factor for us.
While the hotel was a fair distance from Orlando Universal Resort, there were a few details that I would like to mention. There were no extra towels provided. Usually, in hotels, there would be more than one towel provided, especially if you're accompanied by family or friends. The lack of towels was concerning, especially for hygiene reasons; the room felt extremely hot even after settling in. The room was at 75 degrees Celsius, and my guest and I both felt extremely warm.

The location was good. The staff was friendly.
For starters they gave away our booked room. Also the rooms themselves we're very dark. Our lamp didnt work, the phone also didnt work. To use the cook top we had to use our phone light because the room was so dark you could not see what you were cooking. The bathroom was very dark and the toilet seat was broken and would slide off. The tub also did not drain properly and would be half full by the end of your shower. No shampoo was provided. The cookware and utensils had to be requested and were covered in some sort of grease.
This place was not at all like advertised. We pulled up and saw what looked like a rundown motel.
I went in to ask for a refund without seeing the room, only to be told that she would only refund us for 1 night. There was another couple there who was trying to get a refund, and the lady threatened them and said she was going to call the cops on them. The couple showed us the room and how there were stains and dirty rooms.
Without arguing with the front desk person, I just left and cut my losses.
