Thanks to Hady and the Ritz Cairo for a great hotel stay
Pros:

I arrived in Cairo in the morning very tired and hoped to get a room earlier for some rest. Hady at the check in desk, greeted me with a warm welcoming smile, asked how I was doing and right away checked the space availability and arranged get me a nice quiet room overlooking the Nile for early check in. He was also very helpful with other requests that I had. He made me feel like I was a VIP. Its a great way to start a trip feeling like you are an important guest at your hotel.
The facilities are nice and luxurious with a feeling of opulence and grandeur. The Wi-Fi was very good and was able to multitask on the computer without any lags. As a competitive swimmer, I loved the huge pool. The breakfast was so amazing with such a variety of Egyptian foods that I was full the whole day. I am still salivating as I am writing this.
All the staff was so friendly greeting me every time they passed by. They have staff that accommodated you to the room and show you the facilities of the hotel. A very nice personal touch to get you acclimated to a new County and hotel. Nardine gave me a tour of the hotel and I got to practice some of my rusty Arabic with her as she walked me through the facilities. She was very sweet and seemed to have a passion for what she does. When I checked out she came over to me and presented me with gift bag including a printed list of Arabic words in a presentation folder for my study and review and challenged me to an exam the next time I came. This was very touching and emotional and I was sad to leave that day.
Shukran, Hady and Nardine and the Ritz Cairo for starting my vacation in Egypt at such a high note.
