Ritz is Ritz

Good: Great location, Good Breakfast, Friendly Service, Clean Rooms, Security

Bad: Lot's of parties over the week end so it can get little noisy.

Details:
I had a great stay at the Ritz-Carlton Cairo. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, the staff was consistently friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I also appreciated the strong security, which made the hotel feel very safe throughout my stay.

One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel hosts quite a few parties on the weekends, so it can get a bit noisy at night. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to request a room away from the event areas.

Overall, it's an excellent hotel with outstanding service, a prime location, and great amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful gesture!

As soon as they found out that we have a 5-year-old daughter, they surprised her with a kids' bathrobe, slippers, and a children's bag. It was such a thoughtful touch that brought so much joy to both my wife and my daughter.

To make our stay even more special, it happened to be my birthday. I never mentioned it to them, yet they still surprised me with a birthday cake. It was an unexpected and heartwarming gesture.

They truly pay attention to the smallest details and go the extra mile to make their guests feel special. These thoughtful initiatives made our stay memorable, and we genuinely appreciated their outstanding hospitality.

Les points positifs sont l’emplacement, qui est idéal pour visiter Le Caire, ainsi que le petit-déjeuner, qui était varié et de bonne qualité.

Cons:

plusieurs aspects sont très en dessous du niveau attendu pour un hôtel portant le nom Ritz-Carlton.
Le personnel, dans l’ensemble, ne m’a pas semblé suffisamment professionnel. Le service manquait de rigueur et d’attention. C’était particulièrement flagrant au restaurant Bab El-Sharq, où les serveurs semblaient peu formés aux standards de l’hôtellerie de luxe. Le service était ordinaire et ne procurait absolument pas l’impression de vivre une expérience haut de gamme.
L’hôtel était également très bruyant. Pendant notre séjour, plusieurs mariages étaient organisés dans les salles de réception et dans les jardins, à proximité du restaurant. La musique était très forte jusque tard dans la soirée, ce qui rendait les nuits difficiles. À certains moments, l’hôtel ressemblait davantage à un lieu d’événements qu’à un établissement de luxe où les clients viennent se reposer.
La propreté laisse aussi à désirer. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée avait une forte odeur de cigarette. Les moquettes, aussi bien dans les couloirs que dans les chambres, étaient visiblement usées et peu propres, ce qui est surprenant pour un établissement de cette catégorie.
Je suis sincèrement déçue. Le nom Ritz-Carlton crée des attentes très élevées en matière de qualité de service, de confort et d’expérience client. Ayant séjourné dans d’autres établissements luxueux, je peux dire que le Ritz du Caire est très loin des standards auxquels je m’attendais. Cette expérience me fera réfléchir à deux fois avant de réserver un Ritz-Carlton à l’avenir.

Great dinner
Pros:

We didn't stay here, we only had dinner after our visit to the Museum and it was an excellent experience. I remember had 2 dessert since I couldn't decide which one to get. Had a Lamb Shank for main course, and it was tender and tasty. I saw this draft review now that I'm planning again to return to Egypt (late post) and see the new Museum. Food prices in Egypt is much cheaper compared to my lunch in California. Staff here are very friendly.
