-Frühstücksbuffet zwar ordentlich, aber für thailändische Verhältnisse nicht so gut
-Internet funktionierte teilweise nicht bzw. war zu schwach.... da ich einige geschäftliche Onlinetermine hatte, musste ich für 500THB eine abgeranzte Abstellkammer vom Hotel mieten, um gutes Internet zu bekommen. Das Businesscenter in der Lobby ist zwar gut, hat aber kein Dach, so dass draußen alles mithören könnten.

Ok standard for the price. Very good location close to night market and old city.
Breakfast was nothing special. In general good service by we couldn’t get a toothbrush.

Needs an upgrade and cleaning
Pros:

Duangtawan Hotel Chiang Mai needs an upgrade and to be cleaned.

The bed was large, firm and excellent. The bathroom was small with a walk-in shower cabin and a separate bath-tub. The television had many foreign channels in a variety of languages. Breakfast was decent with dishes to cover almost any taste. However, there are no roses without thorns. Upon entering my room, I found the curtain had a big hole as well as being dirty. Upon my complaint, new curtains were promptly installed. The furniture was old, both in my room and public areas. According to the evacuation plan on the door, most rooms have a connection door to another room. My room, therefore, had a connection door resulting in noise from the neighbouring room.
The carpet in the corridor had severe stains. I was particularly concerned with security, as the lobby was on the first floor and anybody could walk into the lifts on the ground floor and get access to any floor / corridor. All in all, this is not what you expect from a 4 star hotel.
