During the booking process, the hotel’s official website did not include the extra bed charge for the third guest on the third night, so we were asked to pay an additional fee upon arrival. Although this was a frustrating situation, Pat and Ing at the front desk went above and beyond to help us understand the billing and resolve the issue. They were patient, empathetic, and never showed any frustration despite our concerns. We truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness. Their excellent service turned an unpleasant situation into a much better experience. Thank you, Pat and Ing!
Check-in is officially at 3:00 PM, but we arrived at around 11:30 AM on June 24th. I expected we'd simply drop off our luggage and wait in the lobby — instead, we were met with the warmest of welcomes.
The associate at the front desk kindly let us check in early, and patiently walked us through all of the hotel's services and details with great care. Petite and lovely, gentle and graceful in the way she spoke — she made me feel that this world-renowned hotel has never let its fame erode the delicacy of its service. To be treated this way from the very moment we arrived, I count myself lucky.
The bellman on duty during the afternoons and evenings of June 24th and 25th — his name, I believe, is Bryan — showed me a different, sun-bright side of that same warmth. He has a gift for making things fun, and I think the source of that gift is how completely he immerses himself in serving the guest right in front of him. Watching him interact with travelers from all over the world, you can clearly see what defines the staff here: no matter the nationality or the language, they help eagerly and wholeheartedly. What I saw in him was a kind of resilience — and I'm grateful to Bryan for making my InterContinental Chiang Mai story such a delightful one.
In just a few short days, I couldn't possibly come to know every staff member who greeted me with such kindness. But on every floor, each one treated me as warmly and attentively as a dear friend. That warmth is exactly why I know I'll be back.
And I truly believe — whether you come from Taiwan or mainland China, whether or not your language quite lines up with theirs — the staff at InterContinental Chiang Mai will make you feel that genuine, heartfelt warmth.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was clean, comfortable, and the service exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Khun Ozone and Khun Nui for taking such great care of us throughout our stay. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile, making us feel truly welcome from check-in to check-out. Their genuine hospitality made our experience even more memorable. We really appreciate their kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend this hotel, and we look forward to staying here again!

We had a conference at the Ball Room and stayed 3 nights. Check in was a breeze. Sarah was very helpful and settled us fast as we came a day earlier. The room was clean and had good view of the mountain. Breakfast was excellent. The variety was too many and have to be careful not to overeat. The local coffee was best. The swimming pool was good :salt water and easy on the hair. Hotel location was excellent, 10 minutes to airport and near the city center for walking tours, markets, massages and food. Service was excellent. Overall an excellent stay. Thank you.
I’ve only stayed one night out of four so far and I’m already convinced this is the best service IHG in the world. Every single person we’ve interacted with has been exceptionally warm and kind.
The service, food, ambience, amenities and room have been A++. I’d like to especially note the warm welcome and genuine kindness from Ms. Fern and Nunn. I’m looking forward to enjoying the remaining three nights and to plan a return visit to this hotel.

The check-in process was very smooth and efficient. The staff were warm and attentive, communicating with me via email several times before my arrival to inquire about my needs. The hotel's location is fantastic, not far from the airport, and Chiang Mai Old City is within walking or taxi distance. The hotel staff, Brian and Nunn, were incredibly welcoming and provided me with a variety of services and assistance. The 16th floor of the hotel houses Teresa Teng's room, which can be visited and used for afternoon tea.

My stay on 13-18 May 2026 absolutely perfect. I was given a warm welcome by Khun Fai who lead me to have a personalize check-in at the couch. My IHG elite status was recognized and I was given a complimentary room upgrade as well.
Khun Brian was detailed during the room orientation. He also introduce me the area around the hotel through the beautiful view of Doi Suthep.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Thank you for the birthday cake it was delicious.
Lastly. I would like to thank you Khun Mike from the concierge. He was very kind and patience as I had lots of questions. He also catch up with me personally during my stay ensure I had good experiences and always offer assistance.
