Hotel Bristol, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Vienna

The service was exceptional! The staff was very welcoming. From the nightly turndown where chocolate treats and notes were left on the beds to the room service felt luxurious. The hotel has such rich history and the elegance to prove it.

The location was great, and we were able to walk to many attractions.

Our stay at Hotel Bristol Vienna was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We were traveling as a family of three, and the hotel had already set up a bed for my child before we arrived, which was a nice touch. Our room was large and had a great view of the opera house. Every little corner of the hotel makes you time travel. The lift was so special, it reminds you of an orient express wagon! We felt very comfortable and will remember this special experience.

Lovely and spacious room. Turndown service was nice treat. SPECTACULAR bathrooms with separate tub and shower. Concierge service obtain Vienna Opera tickets 24 hours before the performance! Breakfast buffet was nice and omlettes to order was nice as was the eggs benedict option! WE WILL STAY AGAIN!

LOVED this hotel so much. The rooms were MASSIVE. So much room to spread out. They are 'old' feeling but in an antique chic way, not a dated stale way.

Amazing restaurants on site. We had breakfast in bed twice (and it was less expensive than the buffet pricing they offered. I do not recommend adding breakfast to your room, even though they offer a pre-pay discount).

There is a concierge who helped us with reservations and exchaged cash for us with no fee. This was amazing, because using an ATM in the city had a crazy fee on it. We also didn't really need euros...except for one restaurant we went to.

There was a nice (but small) gym, they stored our luggage when we arrived early, and gave us check in a few hours early (though not much). The service and staff were exceptional.

There is also a lobby bar that is extremely cozy and chic.

The elevator was a bit small and slow.

This hotel is about to close for a 2 year renovation. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's complete!

My stay at this Hotel exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful big room, if old fashioned and apparently not recently renewed, which nevertheless was quiet, very clean and friendly. The staff, especially at the restaurant, was competent and friendly. I was very pleased.

Tired hotel awaiting a much needed refresh. Doorman was lovely and welcoming. Concierge did not return many emails prior to trip, however, they did OK when I met them in person. Breakfast however, was busy and chaotic. The lady who sat us for breakfast on the first day in the sunroom did not point us to where the breakfast buffet was. We waited for 20 minutes and no waiter showed up, so I had to go find a manager. Similar chaotic experience every morning during our day. Hopefully the renovation will uplift the spirit of the staff and this beautiful property will be warm and welcoming. Location is great overlooking the opera, and even though it was cold, we enjoyed tea on our balcony with the opera view.

Grand property, beautiful restaurant. Everything perfect except the bathroom. The bathroom is too small for two persons, it is in strong contrast with the rest of the facility.
Staff is very helpful and competent.

Absolutely incredible stay- from the checkin we were so impressed! Everyone is so attentive, perfect location, and the breakfast was beyond luxurious.

Very impressive rooms and view, ammenities were perfect and a five star experience overall.

Absolutely book this hotel you will not regret it

Exceptional hotel that brings you back to another era in time. The bar is small but full of character with dark woods and comfy chairs. It was nice that they gave us a nut mix, olives and popcorn with our drinks. The dining room is elegant with its vaulted ceilings and the service is impeccable for breakfast.

The room we had was larger than an ordinary room. It had a separate room for the toilet and another room for the sink, makeup table and tub. My one complaint is the shower. When it is turned on, there is no way possible to stop the water from running out onto the floor.
Then there is a separate sitting area and desk with a mini balcony overlooking the Opera House. We were told that the hotel will close in 2025 for a 2 year renovation. I hope they maintain some of its charm while updating the plumbing and electrical work.

Nice touches include a nightly turndown with chocolates and a note about Vienna’s history. They provide a bowl of apples at every floor by the elevator. Service was excellent for all departments. I’d come back to this hotel as it is centrally located in the inner city ring. Great trip.

Spectacular

Great and elegant spot in a major thoroughfare for enjoyment about all things Vienna. Was a lovely stay there.

My experience was less than expected

Great classic hotel. The location is the best in the city. It is located in the entrance to everything. The service is excellent.

The staff were delightful and welcoming. It is one of those hotels that feel like it is more of a castle, and you are on a royal visit.
The room was comfortable and very spacious with lots of storage place. The shower had a high level of products and was overall very luxurious.
The breakfast hall is just stunning, in my mind it was an old hunting cabin for lords.
To top it all, we ordered some room services (steak and schnitzel) and of course it was great. Location is obviously very good, just a step from the central street, and right on top of a metro and bus station.

Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was huge! And the breakfast and bar very good indeed All great but what was exceptional was the staff. To a man, they were friendly and professional and couldn’t do enough to help you. We had a brilliant time.

It is indeed a great and fabulous hotel with the special charm. Evening turndown service with a lady bringing nice notes and chocolate elevates fairy tale stay experience. We were having charming Opera View and it was great. Breakfast hall is simply the best. Reception young lady originally messed our rates with reservation team. However, their supervisor Jasmine has made extra mile to correct it. Overall, it is a great hotel. Special thanks to italian bellman for a welcoming introduction while checking in the room.

If you are traveling to Vienna, the Hotel Bristol is in the heart of everything. We were only in town for two days, but the location gave us easy walking access to amazing sites and is next door to the Vienna Opera House.

The Hotel provides an Amazing exterior view, historical lobby, rooms, elevators, and service that we wanted when booking a historical hotel. It felt almost boutique -ish.

As soon as we were dropped off, the staff made a great impression - Doormen and others helped escort us into the lobby and helped with bags, while making us feel very welcome. We loved the historical interior. Room was ready on time and off to see Vienna in minutes. Recommend requesting a street view - given Hotel's corner location and the beautiful opera house next door. So much history everywhere.

Room was quaintly decorated with historical furniture and had more accessories and convenience items than one could ask for. Bed may have been most comfortable of our entire trip and the management-hospitality team members (especially Kristina) worked hard to make sure we enjoyed and appreciated our visit.

Would definitely visit again and take advantage of their other amenities !
