Memorable Stay in a Perfect Location
Pros:

Amazing experience! The hotel service was fantastic and the location couldn’t be better. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade and a beautiful romantic decoration with rose petals, wine, and sweets—such an unforgettable gesture. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, with plenty of choices, great quality, and a relaxing atmosphere.Also all staffs very friendly and helpful, It really made our day every morning. Highly recommended!

Relaxing break in a beautiful location. A good hotel to explore the area.
Pros:

Excellent location for exploring Faro and very accessible.
Room was a great size and beds were very comfortable. reception staff were really friendly and welcoming
Live pianist at breakfast was lovely to listen to with amazing views of the Ria Formosa

Cons:

Just lacked a bit of finesse for what we booked Expected toiletries etc… in the room and only had a pump shower gel which was very difficult to use , no hygiene packs, shower caps, nail files etc…. Very basic. Air con didn’t work in room despite reporting . Bottle of wine dropped off on last night just as we were about to go out but there was no cork screw in the room so didn’t drink it, would have been nice to have had it when we arrived. Breakfast service was very poor for the first 2 days but then last 2 days was very good

Do not stay on the 4th floor unless you love piano music at 8am
Pros:

The balcony overlooking the marina was fabulous. The balcony is the main reason for the high rating. The breakfast buffet was good with a wide selection. I did find however that the hot food was merely lukewarm.

Cons:

We were on the floor under the breakfast room and were woken early every morning by the piano. No noise insulation. Had a similar problem one evening when a function was being held in that dining room - it felt like we were in a nightclub. The bedroom was quite small. There was a shortage of storage space - we were there for a few nights and couldn't unpack. There was a lack of surface space in the bathroom. Bathroom was in need of an upgrade.

Pros:

Confort de la literie, vue sur le port, on entend pas les voisins. Bon emplacement de l'hôtel car accès a tout via le terminal de bus juste à côté de l'hôtel.

Cons:

L'agencement de la salle de bain, fort petit et pas beaucoup de possibilité de rangement pour les affaires perso. On avait pas eu ou vu l'information avant notre arrivée qu'un bonnet de bain est obligatoire dans la piscine.. nous n'avons donc pas pu profiter de l'infrastructure.

Bon séjour mais pas un service ni confort 4etoiles
Pros:

La chambre est très agréable, de bonne superficie, propre et avec une belle vue sur le port. Nous avons également apprécié la petite attention avec la bouteille et le gâteau, merci pour ce geste.

Cons:

Cependant, nous avions demandé une chambre calme. Or, au quatrième étage, le piano situé au-dessus (5eme étage) commence le matin et continue pendant toute la matinée, y compris pendant le petit déjeuner. Le bruit est trop fort et peut être dérangeant pour les personnes qui recherchent du calme pendant leur petit déjeuner. .

Autre petite remarque : pour un hôtel quatre étoiles avec spa, il est surprenant qu’il n’y ait pas de peignoirs dans la chambre ni chaussons. Il serait appréciable d’en mettre deux à disposition pour un couple.

Enfin, concernant le ménage, les tasses utilisées ainsi que l’assiette avec le gâteau n’ont pas été remplacées ou débarrassées.

Dans l’ensemble, le séjour reste agréable, mais ces quelques points pourraient être améliorés.

Lovely hotel in a Great Location
Pros:

The hotel was excellent, perfect location for exploring Faro and all it has to offer. Hotel is right on marina. We got an upgrade when we arrived to a larger room and a room with a marina view with balcony which was great. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The breakfast is a buffet style and it was superb, loads of hot and cold options and all delicious. We didn't need to eat anything else for the day until the evening. Also there was a lovely Piano man playing while you eat your breakfast which was nice and he always played a few Irish tunes for us which was very thoughtful. Thank you
