Overall, very disappointing for the price paid, and not the standard you would expect from a hotel advertising itself as

The location was great you had everything very close and also nice views

Cons:

It’s definitely not worth the price, especially for what is supposed to be a four-star hotel. In reality, it does not feel like a four-star experience at all.

Breakfast was included in our stay, but there were very limited options available. To make things worse, we found five ants in our coffee, and the water coming out of the coffee machine was almost brown. We informed one of the waitresses, and she simply told us to use a different machine, which honestly did not give us much confidence.

The hotel itself clearly needs refurbishment, as many areas feel outdated and poorly maintained. The toilet door did not lock properly, and several of the doors in the room were visibly dirty, which made the overall experience feel even less hygienic and cared for.

On top of that, the reception staff were not particularly helpful. During check-in, the staff member assisting us said he could not guarantee a 2pm check-in, even though the booking platform stated that this would be available.

Pros:

Zeer slechte ontvangst, men vroeg een boekingsbevestiging op papier! De foto van de bevestiging op mijn gsm werd niet aanvaard. Ze hadden nochtans onmiddellijk mijn boeking bij de hand maar toch moesten ze nog de originele mail zien alvorens verder te willen gaan met het inchecken. Welkomsdrink niet spontaan ontvangen. Zeer nors en onvriendelijk, jammer want het hotel zelf is zeer goed gelegen en tip top in orde.

Construction noise, pool closed, rooms in need of urgent maintenance, we got upgrade due to noise and maintenance issues in our room, the new room was a deluxe room and was fabulous but there were lots of silly maintenance issues, eg lock on toilet door could only lock from the outside!!! The shower door wouldn’t close! The toilet roll holder and towel rail were hanging off, no mirror to do make up and hair by desk

Lovely week in Faro
Pros:

The wine. A lot of good wine, everywhere, especially the good bye wine gift 🥰 and the piano player ❤️ but the wine, and the choices for evening snacks 🧑‍🍳
Also, the staff, everybody was super nice and polite 🙏

Нам безкоштовно підняли категорію номера, це вперше за 9 років бронювання помешкань на booking.com! Номер був з видом на пристань для яхт. Прибирали щодня, велике дякую персоналу за чистоту і доброзичливість. Ліжка зручні. В номері був чайник і це для нас було як знахідка, одного вечора було прохолодно і ми випили чай.
Вид з номера - був неперевершений, уявіть: ви просипаєтесь і маленькі яхточки гойдаються на хвилях, а чайка з рибою у дзьобі натякає - йдіть на сніданок.
На рецепшені персонал завжди був готовий допомогти - порадили багато цікавий місць в Фаро - одне з них це парк з павичами. Старе місто, вулиці з затишними ресторанами і кафе, маленькі магазини з продуктами - закохували нас у це чудове місто Фаро.
Сніданок - великий вибір, щодня однаковий, різноманіття фруктів і випічки.
З аеропорту до готелю - добирались на автобусі №16
На пляж також можна доїхати автобусом №16 чи на кораблику, який ходив щопівгодини.

Cons:

вечеря в ресторані готелю.
Інші вечері - ми смакували в ресторанах міста.
